I wish I knew what movie he was talking about that "was specifically made for them." I'm guessing it was either some really bad, slop movie that Zack likes but that normal people can't stomach, or (more unlikely) Zack is a stopped clock and it's an actual entertaining movie that they are wrong about. However, I keep in mind that Zack usually doesn't like movies that are actually good. He usually complains about them. His taste is set to slop and anything that isn't slop he usually dislikes. It's actually weird listening to him talk about pop-culture knowing this. "Caped Crusader is better than Batman the Animated series, The new Crow is better than the Brandon Lee Crow, the Mad Max movies weren't good but Furiosa is, etc."

I used to get a lot of DVDs and BluRays from criterion but a few years ago it looked like they just kept flooding the collection with random gay (literally gay, not just lame) movies as I guess what's meant to be their examples of cinematic significance. I shifted more into niche retro grindhouse and exploitation focused studios after that and haven't really checked Criterion out in a while.

It dosen't matter what/where you get your movies. I can guarantee whether you watch kino larber or Arrow video anything you pick will be better than what Dicky Dough head would watch.
