he does realize that the people who would have backed these books most likely knew what the book was about b4 backing right? Does he think that just because the book is in a genre or style he doesnt like the book isnt quality?

It’s especially weird to try and shit on Kamen America like that because they’re recently been gaining a strong popularity in Japan, to the point of getting a manga adaptation of the comics.

The potentially-Eric July hate-sperging is just expected from these idiots at this point.

Yeah, because Expendables, and Expendables with the serial numbers filed off and Super Powers were the artistic zenith of the comic book industry, and its totally acceptable that they were super late. EVS' legally distinct knock off of TMNT is surely just so fantastic that it justifies being like 3 years late.

I also do not get why he can't even be bothered to actually write the captions on the AI pictures himself, instead of having a text bot try and write dialogue balloons or try to have it write in fucking Japanese.

Let's see, they mentioned Strange New Worlds and also mentioned that it sucked. In fact, I only found out how wrong and bad Strange New Worlds was from seeing some videos by those guys about what was wrong with it. I'll also note I am not a regular watcher of Drinker and co, but I think one or two of their Strange New Worlds videos were popular enough to show up in my Youtube recommendations. (Basically, the contention is that Strange New Worlds treated Star Trek the original series as a joke, didn't understand Vulcans, Klingons or Science Fiction in general and was just goofy and bad.)

But you know, Richard never watched those videos so they basically don't exist.

Yeah, Star Trek is a deader brand than Wars. Wars at least has critically favored stuff like Andor and early Mandalorian for it. Trek only has Lower Decks.

Ethan is having to scrape the absolute bottom of the barrel for new recruits to simp for him. Whether they're doing it to curry favor with him and get a last-minute seat on the Titanic or if he's actively recruiting I couldn't tell you, but one thing I've learned about @FROG is that he is WAY more involved in ghey ops and shenanigans than previously thought.

It's wild that he's huffing his own farts like this with a dwindling audience in both subscribers and backers? He went from thousand of backers to maybe 800 if he's lucky.

Star Trek is one of these things where no matter what era of Trek you set it in there is no real reason to recast the Original Series cast. You can just do a different ship in the same period with a different crew.
