Still, I think he just going to transition into being an asshole on Youtube, though even that doesn't seem to be successful for him.

I wrote the summary for my Ethan Hunt fanfic and asked ChatGPT to create a sample page. This is NOT acceptable levels of quality to me. I estimate 1-2 years for AI Art to be good enough that I'd want to use it. Still...it's fun to play around with this emerging tech.

Having spoken candidly to a lot of them back in the day, there are a significant number of the CG creator community who genuinely believe that the crowdfund backers donate in order to help them "live their dreams" and feel shockingly little obligation to the backers in return. Very much the 'it's ready when it's ready, don't bother me" attitude, and really get offended when challenged about it.

And those are separate from the outright grifters like Ethan who get duper' s delight from lying and stealing from the dwindling number of fans they have., knowing they're never going to fulfill and that Indiegogo makes it impossible for their victims to hold them accountable.

Ethan said a couple of nights ago that he’s not even bothering with ETAs anymore. I’m guessing that might actually violate Indiegogo (or whatever platform) TOS. If his fans are this submissive then they deserve what they get (or don’t get, as the case may be).

This whole “artists will be replaced.” Is a two way street. I can get a 12 page comic script faster than a writer can get that page of “art”.
“Hey ChatGPT! Give me a 22 page script about a down on his luck writer/ Aussie guy named Lenny Grey in the style of American Splendor. Here’s 19 pages of KF text to pull from. And the title is “I’m not Crazy!”

Oh, I think he's planning to have AI write them too. Probably eventually he'll have AI come up with ideas for them in the first place too.

Last year (early in the year), I think he said RtB should be done sometime in the middle of the year. Then later said end of year. Then when he created the toy campaign, he made a reply to someone's comment that he's not going to ship out RtB until the toys are ready to get shipped out as well. Which theoretically would have been in a few months. But then the tariff thing happened and EVS said he put the toys on pause.

Even then, somewhere, I think he said he's maybe halfway done. So, it's fairly unlikely it'll be ready by the end of this year. If I had to guess, it'll probably be done sometime in 2026 or 2027. But I would also be willing to bet that his main focus is on Cyberfrog 3. So, it very well could be 2028/2029/2030.
 
I’m watching a LRJ stream from like 9 months ago and they’re going in on Mandy, Dillard said “ I think what Mandy did was abhorrent” and everyone agreed. Was this about the videos she sent to Kyle? I keep rewinding it but they’re so ambiguous, am I missing something?
