I watched Ben Dunn's video this morning. It's a good normie take on comicsgate. I'm not interested in Ethan Van Sciver's roast of content. He's just trying to get his audience to fight with Dunn for doing a matter of fact takedown of himself. Synopsis of video: Ben Dunn of Antarctic Press was around at the genesis of comicsgate being one of the AP staff pressured by Waid to drop Meyer. He was sympathetic to Meyer but other partners in the business were ready to cave. As a result Meyer's book became much bigger than it would have been. Dunn considered joining comicsgate then but wisely did not in hindsight as the leadership of Van Sciver is lacking. He was recently at the Bell County comic con at the booth next to "Ripperverse" and it was a positive experience, he likes Eric and what he's doing. Van Sciver on the other hand though he can draw artwork is a blow hard bombastic starter of drama and conflict. This is noted as a bad way to drum up business vs doing things the right way slower like he sees Rippa doing and Dunn is doing. He would rather take it slow and retain audience instead of always starting crap with other creators to entertain shitheads.
 
I'd honestly respect this faggot more if he stopped hiding behind jokes and just called Eric July a Nigger

Ben Dunn has probably done a lot more for independent comics than EVS could ever dream, and more importantly he gets his work fulfilled and shipped which is the real difference between himself and EVS.
 
Well Ben Dunn did another one, watch it here before you see it with Ethan Van Sciver's useless commentary for superchats. Dunn is apologetic here saying he doesn't hate Comicsgate, he supported Meyer's original run of videos and what they said about Marvel/DC. He gets more into the Richard Meyer cancelling story. He breaks down what Comicsgate was and is and why he thinks it will fail. CG has 3-4000 supporters tops which is small but decent for a crowdfunding base. But it's not a business like Rippaverse. He suggests for it to continue it needs to become a real incorporated business with a CEO and pooled printing deals etc. But then accepts it will not happen as each creator has their own agenda. His Antarctic press like Rippaverse only offers completed books for crowdfunding. The years long delays with Van Sciver wears people out and they leave, wouldn't be acceptable with any other products maybe in the 1800s people waited that long! The whole thing is straight facts, if @FROG has a problem with what's said he is decieving his own audience.
