It seems IGG will be requiring project creators provide backers with timely, detailed information about project progress with IGG retaining the right to suspend projects, pursue fund recovery, and/or terminate a creator's account.

EVS and Co used to be able to skate on this shit because CG brought lots of backers to the platform so they'd let the late stuff slide, but those days are over. They have no connection to new ownership and the CG audience has never been smaller or less inclined to back projects. Zack definitely doesn't like the idea of having to communicate with his customers and bristles at the notion of actually being responsible for anything.

If you're talking about the Rambo book being the finished art, I think Zack held out for a long time sending the books out so he could ship orders of his Rambo book and his Jawbreakers book together, and pocket the shipping difference. I don't really have proof of that though since I wasn't going to order either book.

It's the only explanation I can think of for why he was constantly fiddling with spreadsheets about his customer orders, he was trying to figure out who had order both so he could send them in the same mailer. Of course this caused the Rambo books to be about 2 years later than they should have been.
