Rippaverse is only 3 years old and it relies entirely on itself, and is already selling better than most Indie comics. You don't honestly expect it to be a supernatural sensation in 3 years running entirely by itself, acting as its own publisher with no outside help do you? If Iconic can survive comicsgate I know they can too, try and give them a little more credit than that. Also you act like Rippaverse is the only Indie comic company available.... There's plenty of other ones outside that one

I am not saying that the Rippaverse is not young but that it cannot do enough to save comics when the rest of the industry chased customers away as hard as it did. It can only do so much...

It is not the only one but it is one of the few that are woke-free, successful and decent in quality. Not enough to make up for the fact that the industry has chased away the fans for more than a decade.

Ok, since you put it that way I agree. It pains me as a comic lover to say this, but yes when you put it that way I do agree 100%. 😔 Hopefully apart from Rippaverse, Iconic and Big Man Comics there will be more that follow suit and Comics as well as comic companies can be fun and great again.

Exactly. They have spend a decade destroying customer good will. Do you think 2 to 3 indies are enough to fix that? No. The moment woke reached the movies and TV, that was the fatal blow. There was both death by a thousand cuts but there were mortal wounds as well. One cannot undo all that easily. If Jim Shooter (RIP) was put in charge of both DC and Marvel for a decade then maybe but as things are now, there is little hope.

It looks like EVSCG is having a civil war. Malin has left the Jack show, Anna did a cry stream on rumble and EVS has done like 3 lives on it these past two days.

Kelsey crashed out, Cecil fucked off to play pretend comedian (wannabe Dave Attell). So that turned the "JACK" show into dollar store Jerry Springer. Shiftface Shane and Deepthtroat Goat Ethan slithering around between randoms from the chat getting brought on to have a vocal flamewar with.

Hopefully Riley gets involved and turns the whole thing into a years long court trial for everyone involved.
 
Meyer has officially hit under 89k subscribers. He seems to be losing 1k subs between 1.5 to every 2 months now. I still think it's unlikely he'll fall below 80k since short of YouTube purging inactive channels, he'll probably run out of people who actually stuck around but are finally sick of his shit before that point. Barring another spergout of course where Meyer needs to "purge the non-believers"

There may be little hope, but there still is Hope. I am seeing more and more people get into the hobby of creating stuff that people would enjoy, and they don't even need a personal company to do it, AND I'm seeing new readers even manga readers start to get into it now too. They can just go on crowdfunding sites like Fundmycomic, Kickstarter and even Indiegogo with their new TOS is getting people excited now, not to mention a lot of people are advertising their stuff on Twitter too *I am not going to call it X, not a chance in hell*.... And it's only a matter of time before these people make their own personal comic book companies like Rippaverse, Iconic and Big Man. Well, minus the people that abused it by robbing their backers, and from what I'm seeing they're not happy with the new rules at all. It may take some time, but it will get better in the end if not better than before.

Speaking of which, what's that disgusting hobgoblin doing at this point in time? I haven't been paying attention to him at all, is he still obsessing over Eric July or is he starting to find new people to go after now? I noticed Dada Dicky for the most part moved on from him, and Peto Vito seems to have as well. At least based on what I've seen so far.

You say that like it's a bad thing. All he does is cry about other people at this point, he never talks about Comics at all, at least not like he did before. People are bound to get tired of it eventually, it's not like we haven't seen it for ourselves by now.

I get you refresh my feed constantly, but this is a nothing burger as usual. I gained about 20 followers over the weekend while they all kept constantly talking about me. John Trent tried to do Graham a favor by promoting a Catholic creator's book, and the EVS brigade sperged out to their shrinking audience. It just illustrated why they're shrinking because any normal person was like "why are you upset about this interview promoting your book?" and there was no good answer.

A lot of their talking points, I noticed though Cider, came from a lot of the stuff that you've been saying around the internet the last year. It's almost like you're DMing these folk, generating these fake controversies, but I know you would never stoop to such a thing.

You were totally honest when you told me in DM that you were destroying Boudning Into Comics from the inside, intentionally, and not trying to stir any thing up. I know you were because that site's entirely collapsed just like you told me it would.

As Zack dropped to 88.9K on YT, Ethan dropped from 62.7K followers to 62.5K during the spergout FYI. he's also gone from 135K on YT to 134K in the last week.
