The issue here is whether she is competent enough to consent to the things she did. That's why the thing with Mint has always been extremely uncomfortable.

I agree, but I also think that consenting to something harmful doesn't make it less harmful. Even if Mint posted a video saying that she was totally OK with being assaulted by Riley, it's still assault. Certain behaviors are just wrong, even if the victim says it was cool afterwards. Riley is a disgusting lowlife and I'm glad he's getting what's coming to him.

That is for the court to decide. Whenever something happens. If she could consent, her running away is proof that she did not consent to everything that happened to her so when she says she was afraid to leave, he is fucked.

The point is that he abused her. If they had consenting sex at some points, it is irrelevant. Him not beating/raping her EVERY DAY does not change the fact that, at some point, he did abuse her and that is criminal.

If she can consent, she can say that she only agreed to the sex and the porn because she was afraid. He is a well-connected and scary individual from her perspective.

This is why I clarified this whole mess started with Juju. I mention that not to let Riley off the hook. Fuck Riley. He's guilty too. It's to ensure Juju doesn't dodge the role he played in starting the whole Mint saga.

So much shit can be ultimately traced back to Juju. In fact, some of the worst harassment Eric July has endured was at Juju's behest. Not so much Ethan's. Riley was doing Juju's bidding there.

Juju wouldn't escape. At least not easily. That is assuming she is found to be incapable of consent. If she is found to be capable, we will need evidence he knew she was beaten though.

Unless Eric decides to sue for harassment (which is easy considering the evidence) or call the cops, not much will be done.

It is worth mentioning that EVS has resumed the harassment long after Juju stopped. That, imo, makes him just as guilty.
