Some of the animation for Invincible is done in Japan (though most of the subcontracting work goes to Korea, where most animation is done nowadays), A lot of the staff and animators on Jujutsu Kaisen are Korean.

Richard can live in his fantasy world though.

After a whole video of talking shit Zack then mentions that he accidentaly deleted a printing file and that he has no idea what to do with Comic Book the Comic Book

2. Even without seeing Eric's post I know for a fact that Dick and the Throat Goat are coping like hell.
FYI if you're realistic about the size of your customers base you can in fact function on a smaller number of customers(what the fuck does YouTube views have to do with anything?)

I have heard this for years. I think even Rekieta claimed it at one point. But have never seen the receipts to go along with it.

Mind you, I don't particularly like Tommy, but out of basic decency, I never believe the most salacious things about people without strong evidence.

Not exactly the same thing. Thomas has a real violent incel hatred for women that expresses itself in all kinds of different horrible ways. Including wanting to see them done by dogs. Katydid wants to have sex with dogs. This guy wants to see women sexually assaulted by dogs. He is also big into that anime style where women get beat up.

That's what I thought. I have only ever heard the claim, with never any proof to go along with it.

Again, I don't particularly like Tommy, but repetition of the incest claim never really sat right with me. It didn't help matters that Rekieta ran with it too, and he's terminally full of shit.

The end of that Richard video is really interesting because at first I thought he was making an announcement that he was ending doing comics entirely. At about 11:40 he starts into this speech about how guys can't be be limited by things they were into when they were eight years old forever and how any comics company can only really last around five years because there just much more you can say with making comics after that unless you are doing licensed properties like star wars. How there is no reason beyond a certain point to do "barbershop superhero stuff".

He shifts back toward the end to shitting on Eric July as if the whole rant was about that. But it really seemed to be about himself up to then and he was preparing for his retirement from comics after years of success. He is more full of himself as the great comics artist and publisher than ever.

Richard also says that his great project "comic the comic book" is the one project he is still behind on. Because he can't find a way yet to make it work. This particular project was going to involve Richard talking about buying comics and his original plan was to fill the book with either original art or derivative art from DC & Marvel comics. Then Richard discovered this weird thing called copyright that got in the way. He still has not found a solution. But the one thing he will never do is return the money. Be sure of that.

The most interesting part of it so far is the "Warlock Comic Awards Banquet." I had never heard of Warlock, but I guess someone has been doing a magazine to celebrate comicsgate and they are going to a awards event in Atlantic City with $200 tickets on top of the tickets to Ethan's convention.

Ethan may have finally jumped the shark on this one. The whole event is just insane. Who would pay $100 a day to hang out with these people and get access to their merchandise AND pay $200 more to watch Ethan (inevitably) be given awards. And so little shame about this that they are bragging about that whore Mandy Summers showing up.

Nobody is really paying for "con" here at least in the convention sense. Ethan is just funding another blackjack weekend in Atlantic city for himself off the backs of his stupid followers.

Eric doesn't really get good views considering the size of the channel. Aside from some outliers they struggle to get past 10k. That's been the case for a while though. I had to scroll back like 3 years which is about the time he started Isom that I found videos consistently hitting past 10k. The idea that he's coping about views as they claim is itself a cope. He's right when he says views don't equal sales. There are channels that get millions of views, but only a fraction willing to buy merch or support their patreon. It's just the way of the internet. Eric doesn't seem to be heavily relying on views so as long as people are buying his comics, anything he gets because of the channel is just a bonus.

It's weird, it's like they never heard of small businesses before. Mom and Pop stores, niches online stores and shit like that do it all the time. Just got to know your overhead and budget accordingly. Can Eric survive just fine on his current audience? I guess we'll find out, but to say that you can't in general is a foolish statement.

Oh no, his numbers aren't down. I've already seen a few new people get into it recently and enjoy what they read. When it comes to his comics, Eric July is growing in numbers. Views on the other hand he doesn't care as much because they don't equal sales. That's just cope from the haters at this point.

Oh his audience is definitely growing, I see it all the time. It's so obvious that it's not even hard to look up at this point now. I've done it plenty of times, his audience and fandom for the brand is growing. Honestly sometimes the best way to find things out, is to look them up. Grok is a very reliable way. Buy hey, these idiots want a cope by going by how much views his YouTube channel has, I say go for it. Anyone with a brain knows that views don't equal sales, any more than likes don't.

Let's say July doesn't have a growing audience. Let's say his youtube is dead or dying.
At the end of the day he is still running a business and selling stuff as well as acting as a vanity press and distributor for his friends and acquaintainces.
By every real world metric July is a businessman and runs a business.
By every real world metric Rekieta adjacent perverts like Evan and his associates are fucking lying scumbags and grifters who hide behind questionable "crowdfunding" to avoid fraud complaints. But they're still grifting pishers who beg for pennies and don't deliver shit.
