The ironic thing is I think Richard insulted Milly Alcott in his review of Supergirl worse than a lot of the other people reviewing it have. (A movie he is supposedly praising.) His review makes it sound very unappealing even in the parts where he isn't insulting the actresses.

-The only reason people say Zack has bad taste in movies is because Nerdrotic used to say that. But Gary hates art and artist so his opinion doesn't matter or something.
-All those movies tham bombed and people later on enjoyed (Starship troopers, Hudson Hawk, etc) Zack watched on the cinema and loved them, so he's ahead of the curve on liking movies
-Supergirl is a sacrificial lamb movie that everyone hates for no reason, but will love 20 years from now for no reason.

Absolutely not true. His own audience used to say that he had bad taste in movies and TV even at the peak of his channel. It certainly didn't originate with Nerdrotic or any of those people. It originated in part because he liked movies like "The Last Jedi" and "Gods of Egypt".

Those films came out in 1997 and 1991.. He talks all that shit about old people and then he starts talking like the old guy in the room every time. Sadly also for Richard, he wasn't the first one to that Starship Troopers was parody.

Along with substantial evidence against his pretense of heterosexuality.

It was reappraised in the 2010s by art film snobs and it became a cult film among a certain crowd. The New Yorker (of all things) took up the cause of Hudson Hawk around 2016 or so. Art snobs seem to love it because its so campy. And because the director (Michael Lehrmann) is considered a genius because he also made Heathers.

Generally the people who like it are either gay, stupid or art fags trying to show off for other art fags by saying they like it. Richard on the other hand likes it no doubt because he has shit taste in everything.
