He raised the money for Jawbreakers Contingency back in 2023 and still not finished. Its always almost finished, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it.

He claims he now has a new script for "Comic book the comic book" - Richard's passionate story about what it was like to be Richard buying comic books in the 1980s. He had to reset the project when he found out about this thing called copyright that said he couldn't produced a comic book consisting of nothing other than copies of old Marvel art. He should have cancelled this, but he has no intention of giving back the money.

I think if he were to launch a new book now, the likely level of backing he would get would be down in the low hundreds. I think most of what he said about making comics these days is just a game of pretend for him.

Honestly he is becoming another Liam Grey. A crazy guy with a tiny cargo cult following who doesn't have the audience or the money to publish new comics.

Yeah. I guess that whole Mark Waid thing never happened now in Zoomer Zack's mind.

To refresh his memory, the original Jawbreakers launched in 2015 and gained 58 backers. It was not only written by Richard, it was also drawn by Richard at the "peak" of his questionable abilities. Three years in, he had not fulfilled the campaign and didn't seem to have any interest in doing it. Then a small army of people and their money stepped up to make this retard's self-drawn sub-fanzine shit into a real comic.

Its now 2026 and this total life failure comes out to take an absolute shit on all those people who supported and backed him at that time. The people he was out there begging to support him because of how mean everyone was to him.

What a colossal ungreatful asshole.

For EVS yes it has aged poorly. For Graham, well compass is doing pretty well from what I can tell and I've got all the books of his I've ordered except maybe the newest Chanoo book. I don't think that one has been in development that long has it?

I think they're under the impression because Joe Bennett is going to go on a comicsgate kings stream with them, that it automatically means he's going to ditch Rippaverse and be a full-time CGer. Not only is there no actual facts or proof to say Joe Bennett quit the Rippaverse, BUT there's actually evidence to suggest the exact opposite and that he's still there, and proud of it. These people are so desperate for a win, they have to make one up.... And it's funny how now they're trying to say he's a great artist despite the fact that they tried to say he did a terrible job with horseman and zalen. I KNEW they were nitpicking his art just because it was Rippaverse brand, these people are so damn petty and retarded. I mean Mike Barron is a CGer, but HE still works with the Rippaverse, and even gets along with them.

The last time he and Richard declared victory was back during the covid lockdowns. They did whole streams talking about how all comics except for comicsgate was DONE and that their new problem was going to be how to properly gatekeep all the regular marvel & DC talent that was going to be coming to them BEGGING for work.

I guess Joe Bennett agreeing to be on one of Ethan's streams in 2026 is kind of a win for him. Its a step up from doing drawing streams with a collection of nobodies.
