I haven't cared about comics since they cost a quarter and I rode my bike to the drugstore to buy them, but this particular salt storm has been glorious. I'm not sure how I picked up on it, but it's been my favorite thing on YouTube for a while.
Diversity & Comics posts at least once a day, sometimes more. They're lightweight but fun, so he's become my 'background noise' of choice lately. I only listened to a couple of Captain Cummings but, production values or no, he bored me and I gave up on him.
But Nerkish is a scream. I don't know if he's playing a character or it's real life, but he claims his mother was schizophrenic and his dad was a drunk and he has a delightfully fucked-up sense of humor. Not so much his comics stuff.

Also, fuck marvel its shit, DC makes decent shit. Whats the point in a comicsgate if DC and darkhorse still produce decent quality on the regular? We are getting a samuari champoo Batman anime, what more do these cunts want?

I'm not sure they're completely slapped awake. You can sense that someone high in management was convinced hard that "neckbeard dudebros are the past, SJWs are the future" and if they just hold on long enough, the glorious new paying audience will appear just as their competitors fossilize and go instinct.
Thing about the SJW titles is not the forced diversity, it's that they were shit. The art was shit (most of the women were deliberately drawn ugly and sexless), the writing was shit. Snowflakes can never be wrong about anything, so there never was dramatic conflict and nobody could make mistakes or learn or grow. Just pages and pages of "woohoo! Nazis suck and we're the BEST!" Even people who agreed with them couldn't find trash like that interesting.

Same here. I used to love Marvel when I was a kid, and I bought a lot of Marvel stuff, but I haven't bought anything new from them in years. DC was terrible too until they did Rebirth and actually tried to care again. The best part about Rebirth is that there's still plenty of SJW crap, but it's self-contained to those books. If you can't stand SJW nonsense, as long as you avoid Batgirl and Green Arrow, you'll be fine. If you love reading about how Batgirl's friend got misgendered at the fertility clinic (actual comic book page, posting proof below), then you can go pirate that, because we all know SJWs would never buy anything.

I like his content, I get what he does. Reviewing and shittalking is fine. It was when he went to those cons and started pushing for a comicsgate etc. that led to spergs planning on triggering his PTSD (its fucked up but still) etc. in order to ban him and the dumbass milkshakes etc.

Diversity&Comics (you could at least get the name right) went to the con because he's a fan, and wanted to go the con. He never approached any of the creators there that he has beef with, and even talked about how he was nervous being anywhere near them because he was afraid speds like you would accuse him of trying to cause a scene.
