Another gay social media slap fight between nerds, like GamerGate. I would seriously vote for Trump in 2020 if he were to outlaw the suffix -gate for at least 5 years.
 
Nerkish, D&C and Cummings make some of the worst content I have ever seen. Its only redeeming quality is the massive butthurt it produces in the people they criticize.

For some reason, I've been getting a real thrill watching this whole mess and how crazy everything is getting. Anyone else?

EDIT: Also this fiasco gave us this guy's videoes.
 
The only comicbook I've ever seen in person in my entire life was The Walking Dead, and only because my mom got it after watching the TV show. The only comicbook I've ever actually read is Sonichu.

Or....just an idea....maybe dont throw shekels at that tedious and spineless fucking edgeween comic thats about as tame as a fucking tumblr meme. Seriously, no comic is as much a disappointing and derivative "LOL SO SWEARY SO EDGY!" as crossed.

You may as well fuckin ask what turd looks the tastiest in the septic tank. Edgeween is a shit category by any fucking approximation. It ever so slightly dips its toe in the "edgy" pond and then spends hours running around screeching "LOOK AT ME IM BADASS IM HILARIOUS IM DISTURBING REEEEEEEE!!!" while soiling itself loudly. The entire point of crossed was "OUR ZOMBIES ARE RAPISTS GUIZ!! AND THEY SWEAR AND SAY BAD WORDS TOO!!! ISNT THIS SO EDGY GUIZ??!" which was proclaimed in every bit of marketing the series ever did. If they just stopped trying to impress 13 year old weens with the dumb "HAHHAHAARAPEYRAPEYCUNTCUNT!" shit in the comics and just had it be part of the setting instead of the whole reason for everything then I would be less contemptuous of it.

In terms of good "edgy" comics there are more than a few out there, though most were messily devoured by hordes of dumb cynicism fetishist fans during and after the dark age of comics, and right now the whole catagory/genre is dying the same as the rest of comics.

I read Spawn as a kid and loved it. But I think manga are better.

The only case where a "Manga/Animegate" could happen is when people get fed up with the sjw shit in the translations.

But with or without Sjw - western Superhero comics are dying.
