Reminds me of a comic con story/rumor someone once told me about when one of DC's EiC (I wanna day Dan Didio but don't quote me on that) apparently got into hot water at a panel. Supposedly there was this Tumblrina who'd show up at every panel/speaking event he was at and demand him to tell her why there wasn't more women creators at DC, why he wasn't doing more to scout out more women creators, why was he ignoring so many talented women, yadda yadda yadda.

Abd, supposedly, he finally snapped and asked her "Well where are all these talented women creators you keep yammering on about? Name a few and I'll seek them out, and If they're as talented as you say I'll gladly hire them." To which the Tumblrina revealed she couldn't name a single female artist or writer because she didn't actually know any, but she shouldn't have to find female creators to support.

This user seems a lot like that Tumblrina.

Even worse, it was cancelled before the first issue hit the stands. It was supposed to be an 8 issue mini-series, but the blowback from Sitterson's tweet sperg-outs and the poor pre-order numbers convinced IDW to can the series with only three of the eight issues ready to print.

I don't even see why he expects people to be upset about it. After all, if we're not from New York, we have no right to emphasize with him.

They value feelings over logic to an absurd degree. Even if the products that cater to SJWs continue to bomb and put further financial strain on the comic book stores (even to the point of ruination), they expect the companies to continue making those comics out of some "obligation" to all the "poor and oppressed" minorities.

Basically, "feelz before realz".

Those comics are not for them. Those comics are so various marginalized people can find someone they can identify with because of their skin color or sexual orientation. And don't forget, it's all about spreading woke messages to enact cultural change.

What does he mean by 'admirable strangers'? Is sperging about how comics don't have enough lesbians in them on twitter considered admirable now?

Also, Kurt Eichenwald has gone crazy at DnC for some reason and is bombarding him with emails and apparently threatening to sue him. The man is setting the gold standard for lolcowdom. He's also changed his story about the whole tentacle porn thing from 'I was demonstrating weird internet stuff to my wife' to 'we were playing Freak Out Mom which is a game in our family'. Yeah, changing a story usually isn't a good sign.
