It's the best of them and looks pretty accurate. My favorite bit with her from what I saw was her nodding while saying "yeah, of course" to the black guy who only got to "comics have always..." of "comics have always followed the trends of the political landscape".

She had no idea what the guy was going to say and she was agreeing with him. You can picture a thousand ways that could've gone wrong. I like screwing with people IRL who don't listen to a complete thought before commenting, we all know a few.

They start focusing less on real guests, real events, and real vendors, because cosplay thots are cheaper. They don't drop the prices. It turns into an expensive party for attention whores and the men who orbit them.

I hope it bursts the way steampunk everything did. That was a goddamned beast, but it finally started to wither.

Regarding the Jim Jefferies video, I’d describe it as an egregiously edited hit-piece that has hilariously back-fired. My enemies are gnashing their teeth over it and even his own fans realize it is a viciously inept hatchet job.
Regarding his pearl-clutching over the 4th grade swear-words I used once in a single video 9 months ago, I’m arching an eyebrow (higher than his) at the ten years of misogynistic rape jokes that he built his stand-up career on.
I could tell he had an abiding interest in diversity since one person out of his ten-person crew wasn’t white.

So you all remember Donal DeLay, the guy who got insta-blacklisted for saying “Maybe D&C isn’t a nazi”. People have been really going hard at him today. It’s a who’s-who of regular suspects who stalk EVS and D&Cs twitter mentions but this one is really worth noting.

I love how this thread plays out. Vissagio's idea of a subtle threat is a horse head in the bed. Of course it doesn't even register with the Jim Jeffries show, because they have no reason to care if some crazy asshole shouts about being sad at them, but Mags is gonna try anyway!

As a side note, some young Aussie stand up is going to make a killing from Jim Jeffries own audience, and all they have to do is talk about what a faggot LA has turned him into.

With all the ‘let’s get people fired for jokes made years ago’ that’s going around you would think Jim Jefferies would be more careful about sticking his head above the parapet.

What’s happened to him is pretty sad. He’s a sellout. Say what you will about Frankie Boyle, but he went more political without compromising on the brutality that made him famous. Jefferies is just a limp rag reading from a playbook and not saying anything that even slightly strays from it.

It doesn't even need to be jokes, mother fucker has been heinous as a person. On an old Podcast he was part of "Talking Shit" he told the story about cheating on his girlfriend while in South Africa with a comedy skank, being warned by local comedians that she was a legitimate AIDS risk, and then fucking his girlfriend without a condom to not give away his cheating.

Dude was a great comedian, even his last Netflix special was enjoyable, though you could see LA seeping into him. However, he's been acting so exceptional the last year or two, I'm hesitant to watch his new one.

Yeah, if you listen to the episodes of "Talking Shit" from when him and Eddie lived together before he got the FX tv show he comes off as a huge dick. So much so that Eddie even says they were never friends now.

The Avengers has had Firebird (Mexican), Living Lightning (Mexican), Silverclaw (Costa Rican), Sunspot (Brazilian), Victor Mancha (Mexican), Power Man (Puerto Rican), White Tiger (Puerto Rican), Nova (Mexican), Synapse (Mexican), and Ghost Rider (Mexican), with Firebird joining the West Coast branch in the 80s.

Archie had a Puerto Rican couple in their comics - Maria Rodriguez and Frankie Valdez - since the 80s.

As a Mexican comics fan since the 80s who read these books and these characters, I just had to call Eric out on his bullshit.
