EVS just said 'say hi to MundaneMatt on the way down' people are posting Boulder memes in Vox's chat, EVS just stole his 'Dark Lord' title.
I haven't seen a rape like this since MundaneMatt. And he just fucking stopped streaming because of it, the trolling is lasting longer than the stream.
The problem is that VoxDay is pure fucking rat poison to people trying to go legit or sell things to normal people. EVS said he doesn't see Comicsgate as Watergate, he sees it as the opposite of Gatekeeping, that anyone is welcome, as in ComicsGate is a literal gate to creator-owned comics. He sees it as something positive. That's why people call him 'Uncle Ethan', because he's actually very positive. Its nothing about being buttmad or anything like them. Also he frequently points out that people are threatening to kill other people over comic books and sending each other pictures of anuses because of it.
It was also assigned to them by SJWs, they didn't call themselves Comicsgate. They also don't really care, its a label. Ethan says that if Vox wants to get his lawyers involved, he doesn't care and he'll let him have it. He says its about the people, not about the name. He himself is saying it doesn't matter, they just don't want Vox appropriating it and shit.

Nah, I still like comics and rather not let it rot more even though it probably will. I'm not the "professionals" who are screaming about Nazis and showing people my asshole.
They'll just move on to another hobby anyways so there's really no escape if you do let the crazies run the asylum into the ground.

@Secret Asshole SJW comics just don't sell well. Saga is pretty good but for the most part I find this all really weird.

Partly for being an open racist and attacking other members, and partly because he has a habit of pissing off even people on his own side who would generally support at least some of his views. He's also a narcissistic egomaniac who jumps on every bandwagon remotely SJW-related whether the other people involved want anything to do with him, a la this ComicsGate autism.
Being a giant asshole and, to some degree, being ultra-right on top of that. For instance, just as a counter example, Requires Hate isn't expelled despite her behavior being even worse than Vox Day's. I suppose you could argue she actually apologized, whatever sincerity there was in that apology, but I'm not really into defending either of those turds.

^ This. Even people on the Right find him annoying. Back when Richard Spencer was making a clown of himself on TV, Vox tried to crown himself as "the REAL AltRight"... When any half-smart person would've run the fuck away from such a dying brand. he seems incapable of originality and picks really dumb hills to die on.

They're hamfisted and destroy any desire to buy further issues regardless of how interesting the plot is. Have run into this with a few Image titles. I just don't turn it into a crusade. I just stop buying them.

Caligan strongly resisted the Comicsgate label but still wanted Miller to promote Caligan based on Christian virtue alone but not realising that he'd still be labelled as Comicsgate.

I have no idea who this is, but this argument is stupid. Comicsgate arose from people being tired of politics in their entertainment. Vox Day makes political comics, he just does it from the right. It's not the same thing, and he has no claim on the movement.
