She is already trying to capitalize on her stream appearance by linking to her etsy account in her new pinned tweet to supposedly raise money for the houston food bank. Somebody just popped in with a direct link to donate to "prevent grifting".
Not to mention that people are having fun with screen caps of her first screen appearance in a while with lots of edits and she is quote tweeting them so they are on her page. Honestly they are just giving her ammunition at this point. Give her a reason to claim she is bullied and harassed. Comicsgate is full of the dummest retards I have ever seen. They have gamergate as an example of "what not to do", but they still choose to ignore all of that for reasons just for a quick laugh.

To be fair, Renfamous is a cosplayer and, like all cosplayers, incredibly vain. Having the entire internet making light of her obesity and hilariously bad eyebrows probably hurts a lot more than all the thoughtful, well-crafted Twitter comebacks she's brushed off over the last six months.

Because she's one of those cosplay hags whose life sucks so bad that they have to play dress-up constantly to escape the thought that they fucked up somewhere along the way.
Anyways, I'm disappointed that so many people are giving Lauren even the slightest bit of attention. Besides the weirdness going on with someone like Joe Quesadilla tweeting with her (and there is totally something going on there), she's a nobody in every sense. Hell, despite her being a complete mess on Twitter for the past year, we haven't even given her a topic on the Farms because we have about a dozen cows that do her schtick better.

True, but if she is an Anita Sarkesian in this situation, she is potentially making money off fanning the flames of the back and forth of pro vs. anti comicsgate. I mean professional comic book artists have been arguing with somebody who can wear wigs and sew a costume together. Its professionals arguing with an amateur nobody just because she said stuff online.
Whether it hurts her or not isn't the point. Does comicsgate want her to actually go away or not? If they do, they need to stop wrestling with a literal nobody because she tweeted mean stuff. This isn't a Mark Waid situation. This is a grown child whose only skill she has right now is playing dress-up. I thought they were at least moving in a less exceptional direction when they blocked her, but apparently not. All the pro-comicsgate wankers also stalk this thread like their lives depend on it, so they see this again and again, yet chose to ignore it erver and erver.

I'd suggest 90% of it can be laid at the doorstep of EVS. All he does is screech about how wants her to leave him alone, yet he then turns around and pulls last night's shitshow. I get that he gets angry about how RenFatty & Co. are deliberately smearing him, which they clearly are, but it seems like what happened last night was the Streisand Effect on steroids. Probably pretty much what she both expected and wanted.
As an aside, did KF get namedropped at some point last night? I swear I heard somebody mention this place, but as I made the mistake of trying to listen to both streams simultaneously big chunks of it kind of devolved into gibberish.

I know for certain that Renfamous mentioned it by name somewhere in the first 40 minutes of her hugbox conversation with Kevin Logan. I didn't even watch Ethan Sciver and gangs stream so not sure about them.

Let's be realistic. She's never going to go away because she's been courted by comic book professionals like Joe Quesada. When this all comicsgate shit started, the pros went after comicsgaters themselves and it blew up in their faces. Now they have an avatar they can use to say all the same things with none of the risk. Ignoring Ren isn't going to change that.
If you're a comicsgater and you're basing your decisions on how it will impact Renfamous, then you've lost the fight before you even began. The way to "defeat" Renfamous is not to put her on a pedestal, but to treat her like everybody else. When she's a cow, treat her like a cow. When she punches you, feel free to punch her back.

EVS has this weird idea that if he can take down Lauren then he kills the "heart" of the antis. This is despite having people in this topic and even others like Cecil on his streams repeatedly telling him that she's nobody and she'll flame out on her own if no one pays attention to her. Hell, just look at what happened with both her and Mags when Zack quit Twitter - they had nothing to autistically screech at all day and were starving for attention (and some prime, all-male soldier beef). But now Lauren's found that EVS will give her a steady amount of the attention she never gets from her husband so she's going to keep poking at him across social media forever unless Ethan somehow gets it beaten into his head to ignore her.

I can only speak for myself, but I always ask "Ren, who?" whenever her name comes up because she simply isn't worth a second thought. The only ones who take her seriously are a small group of elitists inside a dying industry... and EVS.
Jesus, Ethan. Go back to working on Cyberfrog or buying up all the Rose Tico figures you can. At least that is (slightly) more respectable than obsessing over a double-chinned cosplayer.

Ethan Van Sciver's reaction to Renfamous appearing on Logan's stream was 50% autistic meltdown (sort of understandable when somebody pops up in your back yard that spent a year harassing you daily) and 50% opportunism.
The reality is that EVS needs the anti's as much as the anti's need him, they both require a target to gather attention to themselves. There's nothing like a little drama to generate views.
Back in April-June last year Comicsgate Live would regularly gather above 2k viewing, the past two months have seen viewing figures of roughly half that (granted, there's no big sales push on and EVS is doing fewer streams) with the exception of last night's stream sniping.
It's a mutually abusive co-dependent relationship. They loathe each other but can never remain more then arms length away if they want to to stay relevant.
The key to keeping the train on the rails when playing the 'drama game' of course is to ensure the drama has a target outside the community (we saw what happens during a lul in anti-action, schisms and bitching) and of course, the drama fire needs to be a controlled burn.
Ususally EVS is reasonably astute at walking that line....but. He does love his drama. Cesar is an appropriate title for a man that takes quite a bit of glee in watching the plebs tear each other apart in the arena for his amusement and he did flirt with the idea of CG Bloodsports.
Ethan has been thirsty for an invite to the Bloodsports crowd's table for quite some time.
He buttered up Vee in a rather embarrasing attempt to gain Sargon's attention, perhaps for the attention of his large and *ahem* 'generous' audience, but Carl showed zero interest. He did through Vee manage to hook up with Tonka Saw, who does seem to have a general interest in comics and there was an attempt to have a weekly Comicsgate Kumite at one point but that fell apart.
There was no mention of Kiwi on last nights stream, but Ethan was crowing about his channel's third refferencing in a video by Metokur, over whom he fangirl's.
Van Sciver's fatal attraction to bloodsports however could be the chink in his armor that yet proves to be CG's undoing. He may be CG's biggest name, most effective asset and world most charming man, but he is garenteed to be at ground zero of whatever drama ultimately tears it apart.
*Edit, Regards EVS love of drama, I forgot to mention that he has been a guest on the Ralph Retort several times also.

Gamergate hates her? Gamergate has no fucking idea who she is. They literally never heard of this KlownKow until this week when somebody noticed the “big comicsgate debate”. And from what Iread their general impression was “meh. Not our circus, not our monkeys”. She isn’t a gamer. She isn’t a games journo or hanger on. She’s some Twitter nobody.

A lot of this is very true, though I don't remember the early stream regularly hitting 4,000. I haven't really watched the streams at all since the end of last year, but I was surprised last night that the turn out was so slow. He had at the highest around 2,300 viewers, which used to be his average. Drama streams would get like 3,000+.
Ethan does LOVE Bloodsports though. And I don't know why he hasn't figured out that Comicsgate and Bloodsports don't work. I remember one of his first big fuck ups was when he baited the feud between Mike and Doug. He was so obviously pushing for drama and it made everyone uncomfortable and ended with Doug's meltdown against Comicsgate (with him called fans SJWs and saying he could have made more money on Kickstarter, etc). Ethan seemed to learn after that that IBS wasn't working for him, but that knowledge seemed to be short lived in his mind. When he invited Jim on his stream with Mindy Wheeler, that was the biggest cringe moment for me with Ethan. He SO wanted an IBS moment surprising Mindy with Jim, but Ethan is no Nick Rekeita. Jim clearly wasn't in on it and could not care less, bailing out after like 5 minutes. It was embarrassing.
Oh, and I noticed on a video recently that Ethan now has a PO Box. So he wants fans to send him shit, but last time I checked in with people who won his "giveaways", they never received their winnings. I find that amusing.

Yeah, I don't know what connection she would have with GG either. My guess is that, since GG (so far) got a lot more attention from the press and others on the Right Side of History than CG has, she took some pro-GG-related senpai noticing her as an invitation to rack up more victim points than she gets from being a "target" of merely CG.
It's true. Whereas D&C started out in the trenches and then climbed his way up to a more professional position out of the mud, Van Sciver seems to have gone the opposite direction. I think asking that Logan kid to be on the stream to keep Ren honest was the right thing to do, but when that failed, he should have just ignored it rather than stream-sniping and perpetuating the beef.
Hopefully Zack can talk Ethan into the productivity benefits and peace of mind that can come from deleting his Twitter account in the near future.

The root of her problems appears to be that she's stupid, annoying and frankly, Dull. Looking at Kevins like/dislike ratin gives the game away. It's not that some people hate her, the issue is she hasnt actually got anybody who actually likes her, we're about six months into CG and all she's got is about 250 likes on a SJW page?
I watched about 20 minutes of that video and realized it's just going to be bitching about icky comic nerds with zero insight. It reminded me of my sisters slumber parties when she was 10. No wonder Comicsgate is still dragging on.
