Does Gail drunkpost or something like Kate Leth was imfamous for doing? Yeah, it might be hypocritical with the level of content on this site, but she's around my mom's age and swears like a little kid who noticed what words their teacher doesn't like.

I think she's just one of those cunts who had years of being able to push whatever she wanted and avoid the negative feedback to her ideas but with the age of Internet it's gotten a lot harder for her to hide from it.

He can probably get away with it, I've only seen the whale try and shit on ~1 panel out of Zack's entire book. Huge difference compared to his iron sights book, despite him saying how the that book was supposed to look cheap, gritty and dirty.

Because apparently, you have to be a member of a place to read a forum that's publicly available for everybody.
 
One side is over represented in the thread because they are extremely pants on head exceptional while pretending to be the more professional and victimized group.

They could always sign up and make the thread more 'fair and balanced' but lets be honest they would only catch a thread ban for being tards.
 
Jon Malin’s Graveyard Shift arrived in yesterday’s mail. So chalk up another Comicsgate Crowdfunded book delivered in under a year.

Initial impressions? Not bad, but not what I was expecting. The description involving classic monsters had me hoping for something along the lines of Mignola’s Hellboy. Instead this is very very much a 1990’s super hero’ish book. Just with classic monsters instead of mutants. It looks and feels like something from Image or Malibu. The art is about as 90’s as you could get without using a time machine. That blend that falls somewhere between Jim Lee and Rob Liefeld. Story is pure 90’s posing in dialog form. There are some interesting elements.,the panels flow well. But there are a few time jumps/flashbacks that make it feel choppy. You spend the first few pages trying to figure out wtf is going on, before a flashback cuts in to tell you wtf is going on. It’s better than anything currently published by Marvel, but that isn’t a high bar to cross. Simply refraining from calling the paying reader a Misogynistic Nazi within the pages of the book elevates it above Marvel.

Of the Crowdfunded books that I have gotten, I think the main story in Jawbreakers is the one i’ve Liked the best. Art and story wise. All the books have been enjoyable. But all would definitely benefit from some real editorial oversight. Where is Jim Shooter when you need him? These books nicely illustrate both the benefits and drawbacks of going it alone.
