He can’t just keep working on it indefinately. If he wants to do more stuff he can just start another project in a couple months, hopefully he has at least half of the thing done by the time he starts up the IGG.

Doug added a lot of trimmings, but I think the hardcover is what really killed him. Since EVS isn't doing that he should be ok. Not sure how much Chromium cost though

I bet the people in charge of shills demanded good press only from the very beginning, and told them it would be the next big thing in comics. Like MovieBob, they were happy to agree with anything as long as they thought they had an elite insider perspective.I'm shocked the lunatic left hasn't started shitting on Doomsday Clock #9 (and issue, since it's portrayal of Trump is super even handed and Wonder Woman's speech at the UN basically embodying the sort of talk that SJWs fucking despise, when people explicitly point out that the lunatic left are just as guilty of making our world a hell these days.
Not to mention the implications of Black Adam (a Middle Eastern super-villain) declaring war on the US, when all of the DC Heroes are MIA. Or having Superman explicitly state some of the stuff he says when confronting the Russian contingent, while Batman screams at him to shut up....
But then again, they probably don't want to acknowledge that Doomsday Clock being Geoff telling his SJW cohorts to fuck off or that he explicitly added that context to the book as a direct response to the Trump Derangement Syndrome explosion after Trump's election. For fear of having a high profile book with Comicsgate sympathies rejecting the false narrative being pushed by the Khouris.

Jesus christ thats actually rather sickening. They get handed a classic "STRANG FEEMALE CHARACTAR" to write for and they write the kind of shit you'd expect to find in an especially cringy fanfiction where a female character shown to be an assertive badass gets beaten in to a bloody pulp and super-raped by her abusive husband and then loudly weeps about it for seventeen chapters.
I mean I say this a lot, but if the fucking kiwifarms nigger parade could probably group-write a stronger/more positive spin of a female character than you, you REALLY should not be in the fictional media business.

Nope. A huge chunk of the fan press have (at best) been ambivalent towards Doomsday Clock. Partly because the "kool kids klub" mentality where because Alan Moore is God in their eyes, anyone doing anything with his creations without his explicit permission is blasphemy.
Also, the SJW horde don't like Geoff because of various reasons (mainly he's not "woke enough"). I saw one SJW go batshit crazy when Geoff introduced Simon Baz, AKA Muslim GL, because A. He wielded a gun and B. His introduction arc had him be framed for a terrorist act and him, in order to defend himself, basically admit to being a car thief to the feds that arrested him, which upset the snowflake who felt Simon had to be 100% Mary Sue type good guy Muslim role model.

Tbh the vast majority of anything Alan Moore ever did that anyone else ever did something with has been underwhelming or outright appalling, and you could combine the skills of 90% or so of the current comics field without reaching the level of Alan Moore's fingernail clippings.

The one good thing I could say about Kwanza's work is it helps show the big issue I have with X-Men stories where they get too literal with any minority metaphor when mutants aren't actually a separate group, it's a random thing that happens in random members of the human population.
He created Black because "the X-Men didn't go FAR enough" but he just ended up distilling the flaws.

I just don't think Watchmen should be part of the main DC universe personally. I would prefer it to exist in a vacuum.

Worse thing the 13 Colonies and later the United States could have done to the African slaves is to tell all of the slave ships their cargo is not welcome here and offload them elsewhere.
