There are plenty of other right/center-right comic creators out there who don't act like gigantic spergs when dealing with their peers: it's largely how the likes of Bill Willingham, Mitch Brettweiser, and Ethan Nicolle have largely managed to avoid controversy and getting into fights constantly with others over the years in the industry. And even if they do get hit pieces put on them by Bleeding Cool or w/e, their reaction is to just shrug, ignore them, and keep working.

I gotta respectfully disagree. EVS does his share of shitposting, and may occasionally cross a line or two into temporary cowdom. But in no way, shape, form or universe for that matter, can a reasonable person compare him to the likes of Chuck Wendig, Mags and Gail Simone.

At some point WHAT you are saying/sperging/tweeting about is important. The anti-Comicsgate weirdos are about targeting, deplatforming and political correctness delivered with a Maoist verve. Ethan simply calls them out on it while selling his own books to make money. I got no problem with either of them.

Plus EVS, like his politics or not, has a 17 Charisma. The goofballs you listed are utterly revolting creatures. As for his "peers", most of them ran him out of the industry or silently watched and did nothing to help him. He's probably respectful to the ones that deserve it.

Personally, I like the idea that Idiot Nurse's superior wasn't being deliberately cruel or hateful to her; he was desperately trying to save her life because he knew Vader was more dangerous than a garland of thermal detonators.

To be fair, people have been stanning Vader since day one.

In particular, the pre-Disney EU lore made a huge point to whitewash Vader in so far as painting him as a he-man general type who DOES treat his subordinates well (so long as they don't fuck up) and a huge source of inspiration to his men, to the point that serving under Vader (and gaining his patronage) is considered a "golden ticket" to basically chart your own destiny within the Imperial Armed Forces, as far as advancement and plum positions/assignments.

Is he though? What has he said that's "far right?" I don't pay attention to a lot of what he says, but I haven't heard anything "far right" out of him.

I only discovered EVS by accident when he started dunking on TLJ... I haven't bought a comic book since I was 12 years old because fucking come on you goddamn manchildren... find a dignified hobby for an adult. While I'm not a religious viewer of his content, I do find his particular brand of schmarmy sarcasm entertaining. I also enjoy all the jimmie rustling that he has caused by making more money doing his own thing in a single crowdfunder then 'legit' comic pros would make in decades.

As far as any sperg tendencies... well, he wasn't just another butthurt dramawhore fanboy. This was the industry that fed his kids. So I give him some wiggle room if he wants to chimp out on the folks that drove comic sales into the shitter. Even when he does, he's never done anything alt-right that I've seen beyond stating the obvious that sales have sucked since the diversity hires took over. The only use the alt-right has for trans comic pros is to help fill up the boxcars heading to central Poland... Ethan's only crime is daring to call them shit writers/artists... the nerve!

He's so good I STILL don't have a copy of Cyberfrog because he's too busy peacocking on YT to fucking finish something an inexperienced Goofy Dad managed to do in less than half the time and whose work I happily have in my bookshelf. He's far more lucid than his incompetent and should be fired peers, but he still suffers their flaws to an extent. The only difference is he's somewhat tied to reality and hasn't slipped into lunacy yet.

Then again, creatives I've noticed tend to oversell their qualities, forgetting that closing rather than posturing is more important than that.
