My experience is that librarians run the gamut too, and yes they'll have a lot of semi to full on soc-jus books (that vary between being pretty damn good to oh wow this was a trashfire), but you'll find a lot of shit like farming guides, forrester handbooks, and other shit too. Nice to see that he can be read now by generations of kids... at least so long as some twitter weirdo who has no life tries to burn the book or something. Ah who am I kidding, I expect to see a soy drenched sexual predator or fat landwhale screech at the library because they doxed them via phone data now because "muh right side of histreee".

As for EVS booting people; not a fan of it but I actually get it. Why? Because you get your big bucks being relatively apolitical as a business, and in cases like Vox or Mike they tend to want to package ideology first and good product second. They would be your right wing equivalent of the Strasserists who slowly fill in their jobs with buddies and ruin the product from within, especially since crowdfunded comics under a "fuck you big brand" label, while not new, is "new" in terms of the CG label.

Not a fan because technically I see the brand Comicsgate as an open source. Also of the mind that a person who sucks will out and not succeed in a healthy market. See: John K failing out of animation as a primo example.

I was thinking over this Mike thing last night. I think the religious folks in Comicsgate are Comicsgates version SJWs. Here's the thing about the culture war, it's a war, but it's the most pussified war ever fought by a generation that never knew war, so it's devolved into a sissy slap fight in the school yard. It's a semantic fight in which the winner, by our current cultural mores, it the biggest victim.
So everybody's default setting is now faux outrage. I'm beginning to think it will take an actual war before it's finally understood that Twitter was a huge mistake.
Anybody that thinks the right are winning this war however are living in a bubble.

I think you went in a little hard on Mike, but I agree that his tweet was kinda passive aggressive and felt like starting a fight for the sake of starting a fight. I expect more infighting from tone policing each other, but it is what it is.

The receipts of EVS here are pretty damaging. CG is falling apart right now. I don't know if Ethan can fix this with damage control. Same for Miller. I see both of them losing this regardless.

Why would ComicsGate be trying to "silence" her lack of respect for other people? It's her voice!

It's disheartening that these lessons aren't getting through, and that a good deal of people aligned with ComicsGate don't actually want escapist entertainment free from extremism...they just want the means to do the same thing back at the SJWs.

And by the way, feel free to do that. Vox Day is doing that, his whole group are doing right wing comics. But be upfront about it and don't pretend you're a part of a movement created to end poor business practices in comics while engaging in the opposite.

Probably this, but at first it was a bit. I was half kidding, half scolding. Now it's serious: "You're trying to silence Christians!"

I dunno. We'll talk it out and it's probably going to end up that Mike is going to go his separate way. He's got a good platform of his own now, and I think he'll do fine. When people started propping up DM's that @damian explicitly stated he created and were fake, that would have been embarassing for those people, except that they're so lacking in self-awareness so they keep on keepin' on. Crypto said he would use his connections to IGG creators to dox people he thought were assholes. Just like Mark Waid, his definition of "asshole" has rapidly expanded to a pretty broad spectrum and now encompasses "people who disagree with me". I have seen some posts on twitter EVS has posted, then taken down, which other screen capped before he scrubbed the threads.

From what I have heard, Crypto has no access to those projects. He only worked mainly as a paid editor, and has written one story for Lone Wolf. All creators of those projects claim that they only have access to their campaigns and Crypto has none.
