The tweet where Chelsea says "I guess I think of stories as points-of-view" is where she comes so close to getting it, but she veers off at the very last minute to appease the mob. My suspicion is that whatever went down on Chelsea's last outing at Marvel lead to this current campaign to destroy her.

It could be. You're more familiar with the inner workings of the comics industry than us. But at the same time, this is how the Twitter trans community behaves. I think most of us upon hearing about the subject of Chelsea's batshit insane book figured that she'd be burned by them unless her comic had a tranny talking about their stunning and brave "period".

Can someone summarize the Chelsea Cain drama? I haven’t been following it.

Chelsea wrote a comic which was basically "period werewolves", with women turning into monsters when they menstrate. Trannies got their boxers in a twist that transpeople weren't acknowledged, and she included some of the butthurt tweets in the comic itself, on billboards. The trannies got even angrier and harrassed her to the point when she said she would hire sensitivity readers, but they still drove her off twitter...

This one is by far my favorite, the totally real and not manufactured harassment from Mockingbird to drum up controversy, and hopefully sales, was "awful" but Chealsea deleting her twitter and having this weird meltdown and the self flagellation as well and apologizing like she just ran over a baby is really just a long con to make trans people look bad. I’m trying to make sure I’m not missing something because the plot of the comic was people who menstruate turn into werecats and murder people, right? Troons don’t menstruate so there’s no need to round them up. I don’t understand.

Completely wrong. They're mad that the book excluded trans people, AT FIRST. Then they got mad when Chelsea did what Chelsea does and put the words of her critics in the mouth of the bad guys. She put tweets from one of her troonie critics into the comic and they blew the fuck up about it. Then she tried to appease them by saying she would hand free comics to troons that would help as sensitivity guides WITHOUT PAY. This made them even more furious and eventually Cain shutdown her twitter.

This is by far not the only account to do this, but I do always love it when the SJW types, mostly troons, complain about someone's fans being 'sicced' on them - basically counting their Twitter followers as people who act en masse at their whims. Partly because it shows how they think that they have the right - even the moral imperative - to attack people more popular than them and say whatever they want, because hey, punching up, but if that same person responds in any way that's not complete supplication, then they're the bully.

And partly because they act like any person with followers in the five figures has a personal army, because they treat their own followers like a personal army. Because everyone is out to get them, harass them (that is, disagree with them, which is the same as stalking and doxing) and hurt them, which only they are allowed to do via social media. But also someone like Chelsea Kain doesn't have anything resembling a personal army. This isn't some mega-popstar with millions of followers who will react to any perceived slight as a reason to go on the offensive, even if that's not what their idol wants. This isn't even someone prominent in the culture wars who does treat their followers as a personal army, like Cernovich.

She's just an F-list comic writer prone to stupidity, and she's most likely followed by the same sort of people who could never handle being criticised by a troon for fear of being transphobic. From how these things usually go, a couple of people likely managed to think enough for themselves that maybe this criticism wasn't warranted and the vitriol was definitely over the top, and that has converted through troon logic into harassment campaigns and their eternal oppression.

As I said, it's not limited to this one cow. But it really proves that comic of the feminist shoveling shit over a wall and crying misogyny when shit is flung back at her applies equally if not moreso to troons.

They always 'sicc' their followers on any one or two people via Twitter, and see no issue with that. But when the person has more followers and stands up for themselves, they are ACTUALLY 'siccing' followers on that person.

For all these tards know the majority of their followers follow both of them and are impartial. Another thing to note: Most of their stupid tweets get <100+ "likes" which is a huge margin of people not caring, or not seeing their shit. How can you be so dense you actually believe there are 13k people ready and able to swarm any one person Chelsea hates.
