Okay so wait... Pando I believe was accusing him of being an E-THOT and begging for tips on his livestream? ... I don't see begging, I see suggestion with the promise that it all goes towards the woman. He clearly states this, and if his fans want to send her a tip, then how is that HIM E-Begging? they know where their money is going, they can choose not to send money. So do they hate anyone getting superchats/tips? Comicsgate was a dumb idea that will lead to hurting people who want to break into the comic industry for siding with it. Don't get me wrong I don't disagree with the movement at all but the execution and even the fucking name was a exceptional. here's some of the reasons I think is exceptional.
1) let's start with the name comicsgate it's clearly supposed to draw parallel to gamergate which mind you everybody who isn't in the know of the movement thought it was just a sexist harassment campaign . you can say that it wasn't a sexist harassment campaign but guess what it doesn't matter because the perception of gamergate is that it is and we all know perception is reality .now all the normies who are buying comics are going to immediately think you're a sexist and probably won't support you which leads me to my second point .
2) You need normies to support you no matter how good your numbers are now you're going to always need to grow your audience or face stagnation and or desolation of your company and book. This whole fuck diversity and representation be it forced or not really makes a group look bad to the normies, when one of your main points is that diversity and representation is bad and killing the industry Normies see it as minorities are not welcome. the best solution to this is to say we think the current storylines of comics are not good, and the big two have gotten stale they use gimmicks to draw in readership instead of making compelling characters so we are here to make new characters and new stories. Notice how I didn't say diversity or representation in that sentence? yeah that should have been one of your rules from the beginning don't mention the characters race or see don't make it a big sticking point, because normies don't see Forced diversity normies don't even care about forced diversity. most people don't really care besides of weird internet people you can't live off an audience of weird internet people unless you're a furry / loli ( shadman im looking at you) porn artist.
3) this one is really simple so I'm not going to dedicate an entire novel to this one. You pissed off the comic industry if you ever want to move on from being an indie guy and sided with comicsgate guess what you'll never be able to move on from this this is your life now.
I got more points but I'm kinda pooped and I don't really want to continue writing so I'll just list them.
Word of mouth only gets you so far
Bad media coverage will not help you (not everybody's Donald Trump look at ukpt and Sargon)
Working with the alt right from the beginning was a bad mistake
Name-calling wasn't such a good idea
You need a gatekeeper
You should have at least a quarter or halfway finished the product before crowdfunding.
And many more.

I think it's more than a two page joke...I think it's a one issue gag with a pretty fun comment on gender swapping in pop culture right now.
The tagline was added by the guy who designed the logo, which I think looks great! He kinda threw together a cover with the logo I paid him for, and I thought it was worth sharing. The final cover won't have the word "soy" on it.

It's just pure hatred. @FROG did the exact same thing to a bartender who made a 'Rose Tico' cocktail for him and they thought it was awesome. All because one of the groups tards didn't get a 'making of: BFB' book due to Doug's oversight, but still got BFB and a full refund for the mistake.
On those comic pages it's weird that you've got Sue looking like a MtF troon and Reed drawn looking oddly FtM. Normally you just get the limp wristed emasculated soyboy for the male.

Now that the Cyberfrog books are getting ready to be finalized after you've made the printing tweaks, do you have a gameplan for how you're going to schedule the next campaign? I figure Cyberfrog has given you a decent baseline on how long it takes you to get a book going so you'll have less REEEEing about late books in the future.

Sheeet, I didn't know @FROG was a kiwi. I've backed both Cyberfrog and Earthworm Jim. I am 100% going to back Rainbow Brute and Kyle Ritter's book because that art is beautiful, even though I'm poor. I know Doug backed out of CG for business reasons because he works in Hollywood and can't really support Comicsgate. I mean, I don't really care and I understand. Comicsgate's not really a movement or anything, its just creators making independent books without any of the pretentious bullshit.
As to the drama, I have no idea what's going on. I just want to read some good funny books. Maybe Doug just misinterpreted something? I don't know. I have no idea why.
