Spoiler: Where The Weaksauce evidence came from

Apparently Praetorian is an ex-warcampaigner who was engaging in all the other shit that people don't like. He went too overboard for warcampaign, left the group like spurned ex-girlfriend, and decided to show receipts. Kinda like all the ex-comicsgaters who leave in a huff and instead of moving on with their lives, wallow in bitterness.

It's interesting that even for yet another ex-warcampaigner, he didn't have anything worth a damn. Despite being with them for a year. The exceptionalism we've seen in public when warcampaign wa going after Geeks n' Gamers was more damning then these out-of-context DM's.

Boyette says warcampaign endlessly harasses people and yet Cridious was harassed and nobody noticed the alleged endless harassment? Either Cridious was exaggerating his bullying or Boyette is completely off-base with the "non-stop harassment".

I think the only thing that makes sense for CG at this point is to fracture into smaller, more strictly organized groups. The Comicsgate label can still exist and they can identify by it, but I can’t see the Comicsgate movement lasting much longer when it has such a wide group of people in it, all with different ideas of what Comicsgate is.

Let’s say that Comicsgate splits up into Splatto Comics and All Caps Comics. (I know Richard and Ethan probably don’t want to be the ones who deal with this stuff, but just for the sake of example.) Creators can “join” either group, both of which will have more clearly defined rules to follow, decided by the whoever the “leaders” are. (In my example, RCM and EVS)

Seems like the only sane way to avoid whatever the hell is going on at this point.

People seem really surprised by the chromium covers...Even my fellow professionals, asking me who made these and how I got them done. I can't believe I'm the only one who was paying attention to cover enhancements of the 90's. They're fantastically beautiful, and EXACTLY what I was looking to bring back. Expensive as hell, and they require two separate printers, one for the covers and one for the insides.

Part of me wishes I had gone hardcover, but I wanted to bring back the glitz and glamour of 90's comics, and that means keeping these comic books as comic books.

REIGNBOW the BRUTE will have a prismatic chromium cover. That's going to absolutely wow them.

I saw a comment I agree with, #comicsgate dying would be the best thing for EVS out of everyone. He'd shed the Drama, still have his SW/Geek Culture YT and enough Fans to buy the 2-3 issues of Cyberfrog he'll make before retiring. There seems to be a fraction of the CG critics who really just have hate boners for EVS and the griping over something else (real or imagined) is just an excuse. I'd love to see the looks on their faces when they realize that wrecking CG does little to nothing to EVS, himself. It might have hurt him a year ago. His channel is big enough to sustain itself, now.

I might take a hit for it. But it'll heal over. Comics has never had and never will have a leader. Trying to impose speech sanctions on comics is what led to the comics code (universally violated now) and the strong market of underground self published comics.
The only authority the CCA had was creators willingness to abide by it. Treating CG as a "stamp of approval" is even gayer than the comic code because it's policing the same comics that have always been "extreme" and drastically outspoken.
Comicsgate is not an authority and has none, except for the money (ultimately the strongest driving force in the business). CG approving horrible comics (nasser/Ben hen/hobo hagrid) destroyed the credibility of the "brand", time to focus on building individual brands instead of collective ones.
Where Peter failed just like CG was trying to force people to push a brand. We are all individuals. Every fans opinion counts just as much as the creator.
