The way I see it, Zack was the scariest because even when he was still starting out and was more aggro/mad at the comics what he was saying was rational. A little 'entertainment hyperbole' sprinkled in, but it was nothing too crazy. A lot of people took to his charming attitude, and listened to what he was saying. He didn't really get into Twitter fights so they couldn't really anger him with their words, and when he knew he fucked up he apologized and moved on... It was insane to them. He didn't just say "SJW book, it's bad." he'd give actual advice, and praised people he didn't like if they did well.Kinda amazing since YBZ got put through the wringer way harder than any of the 2nd-comers.
He's too much for them. That's why they went harder, in my opinion - the only thing is: he didn't play into their hands, and that's what was freaking them out.
I can only guess because MARVEL is more likely to put up with it. DC has some of them slip through the cracks, but they seem more interested in putting out comics that sell. Tom King definitely isn't the best selling Batman writer, but he was selling enough for DC to justify keeping him on, till he wasn't.Why is it the only EICs worth a damn seem to go to DC while all the cucks flock to Marvel?
MARVEL, on the other hand, doesn't give two shits, EiC for them is just a title. They are more worried about making their "firsts" and "brave, new" shit. Art doesn't matter, writing doesn't matter, sales don't matter as long as Down-syndrome pudgebellies can see themselves in Squirrel Girl.
Yaboi put out a 'History of MARVEL' book which is interesting, the art is alright... But it has Waid on the credits and I'm not giving him money. The little piggy needs to learn.
