So here's some potentially bad news about DC:

AT&T might be considering to either shut down or downsize the comics division of DC Comics.

sounds good, i hate to say it but the big town surviving as IP mines for larger companies kinda lead to this shit show. If the old reprints are selling better than the new ones then make the new shit like the old shit

Is that true about you not being able to have more than one person on a livestream without Hangouts?
No. Streamlabs is capable of hosting multiple camera sources on the same stream, and there are probably other options I'm not aware of.

Edit: I’m wrong about Streamlabs. StreamYard works.

No it didn't, Warner and Disney are/were extremely hands off with their subsidiaries.

DC's failures rest squarely on Dan Didio and Jim Lee's shoulders and their refusal to tard rangle their employees.

If AT&T kills DC they are who we have to thank.

Also blame the idiots who still give Didio and King books/managing a property, since they need a brain examination for pathologically hating money.

I slightly disagree, half of it rests on Didio's shoulders for trying to bring back the New52 and the other half on Jim Lee for not tard wrangling him.

Zack mentioned about doing a livestream with @FROG tonight for the last night of GodKing, but I don't see how that's gonna happen. EVS is a hopeless boomer vis a vis technology.

Edit: Aaaand I stand corrected. EVS has a rudimentary knowledge of Stream Yard. Streaming right now, trying to get Zack on. Antonio is already three.

These are some of the worst people around when it comes to making popular comics. King somehow managed to turn a Batman run into a cry for help that he's in desperate need of a therapist or 5.

DiDio, I wouldn't trust that guy to run a lemonade stand, let alone DC Comics. And Jim Lee, I mean...very good artist but what the fuck is he doing?

YBZ finished just under $200k. It's now in demand and will probably get to 200k shortly.

Here's the GN numbers for June 2019. Be interesting to see how well it did vs July numbers.

He beat the top funded Black book by >$100k.

I'd heard that Dixon was working with YBZ and if anything that can only make his final product better. Shame on the big 2 not wanting to take advantage of that man's skills [Talking about Dixon FYI] because the man certainly knows how to tell an interesting story. Aside from Bane Conquest, which I found a bit confusing and wasn't sure where it fit in current DC continuity, I can't say I've ever read a Dixon story that was bad. Even hardcore lefties in comics know the man can write.

If I were Zack, I'd hire Chuck as a mentor and consultant. Something close to an editor, who would take Zack's basic skills and help him to grow into his potential.

The thing about all of this is, Zack needs to be the writer of his comics. People are backing his books for him, Zack the idea man and Zack the writer. That's why he's able to pull in $200K per month. The less RCM per comic, the less money it'll end up making. His fans are investing in HIM.

Fuck, I thought the deadline was tomorrow.

EDIT:

Oh I can still get it:

In Demand is great.

200k for a comic book? That's cash equivalent to 50k copies of a single issue book. I'd say hiring Chuck Dixon was the best idea he ever had.
YBZ is a YouTube critic that never shuts up, his writing is as bad as his commentary. I can see how some people would find him entertaining but a 50% drop in revenue has nothing to do with Zack or Dixon.
Most of the potential customers, including myself and many others were driven away by Ethan and his gay whore campaign which was apparently a jewish gay op to screw up a clown chat room.

To be fair, the original Jawbreakers only grossed "$193,279 USD by 5,362 backers on May 10, 2018." The other $210k was from in demand purchases made immediately after the Mark Waid incident.

Ultimately I don't think Jawbreakers 2 will make as much as Jawbreakers 1, but $250k is nothing to sneeze at.
