Off the top of my head there's Carla Tortellini, Shae Zombie and "Charlie's London" as well as Martina Markota. All of these women are married though meaning they don't get free simps the way Mandy does and therefore live in obscurity except for Martina who is an infamous lolcow outside of comics.

Markota is at a total loss on how to entertain people on the internet without taking her clothes off, opting for Youtube algorithm seppuku by livestreaming for several hours daily reading from art textbooks out loud. Mike Miller frittering away three in the morning working on a commission is absolutely riveting content compared to what she puts out.

Anna is different from all of these people because she actually brings her own platform and customer base to the table, and clearly desperately wants to break into making art for a living if she's spending that many weekends livestreaming for 5-6 hours with a drunk Cecil and Kelsey Shannon.

I had a thought it was something like that. Anna does have a bigger youtube subscriber base than you and various companies are starting to take note of using youtube celebs more and more to push products. ...I would have picked a better artist, but its made almost 16k so far in about a day, so I guess they know better.

I do like a bit of what I see in that list though. Putting a stop to #1 baiting, stretching out release dates between floppys and trades to encourage floppy buying instead of waiting for trades, and cutting back on the number of ongoings and miniseries. I see they're eyeing the Shonen Jump model too. This is all good stuff if you want shops to survive. Some guy got banned for "are you history buffs, what's your favourite Roman war campaign?" HaHa, funny right? Answer them with Hannibal and the Battle of Cannae or Crassus vs the Parthians and the battle of Carrhae, two campaigns the Romans got absolutely wrecked in. Have fun rather than being a tool.

I was just taken aback by the statement, as, from what I've read, Peter is about as middle-roadish in temperament as they come and is doing things with Alterna that might make them outlast even Marvel and DC. There are a lot of creators who sperged out over Simeti's "no block chains" social media policy for Alterna creators. Simeti probably has a bad rep with SGM's circle of friends so he probably avoids him so he doesn't have to deal with the push back at dinner parties.
