I always thought the pride is a sin thing was weak level trolling not worth anyone getting their panties in a bunch. And I've yet to see these Comics Gate 'fans' who cared about it, like rank and file fans, not youtube d-list celebs. Always seemed like a pretense and who cares if someone is a Christian or not, look at stats, odds are you are going to meet someone who believes in some kind of 'God'. Bottom line, Frog tried to control all aspects of Comics Gate as a brand and its impossible to do with all these weirdos and contracting actions that went on.
Right. I caught a few minutes of Ethan's stream the other day, where Jon Malin goes full NPC and gives his usual gibberish saying how "COMICSGATE IS POLITICALLY TOLERANT OF EVERYBODY" then goes on to rant that he hates far left people. Then hes not tolerant😂if there's people he hates politically, and they're hypocrites for not letting Mike be a Christian.

Is Donal implying that he doesn’t try to work on a page of Cash Grab most nights?

Probably busy giving his wife's boyfriend a foot massage while the pizza cooks.

Dynamite is accused of not paying their freelance people on time.
I've heard of this happening across multiple comic companies so nothing particularly new here but its rare when pros actually speak up about it.
You'll only hear about Dynamite being shady because they are currently the villain since the revelations that Nick Barrucci gives EVS his marching orders.
It makes you wonder how much control Barrucci had over Ethan and how many excommunication, drama, and and the ousting of people like Nasser were actually decisions made by Barrucci that EVS blindly followed through on. If anyone thought Ethan was untrustworthy before, his homosexual friendship with fellow pizza enthusiast Nick Barrucci adds a whole new layer of sleaze to an already disreputable organization.

A lot of companies do this, even comicsgate fails to pay people on time. But don't expect them to call out SJW companies with enough social capital to crush anyone accusing them of not paying. It's extremely easy for SJW leaders to declare you a "suppressive person" in the cult of comics and mass block you for having the audacity to complain about not being paid.

I find it interesting that Ethan claimed he was "protecting his lgbtq+++" customers when he was actually obeying Barrucci. Perhaps the root of all of this was that Mike and Doug refused Dynamites "offer you can't refuse" and were taken out of the equation with comics mobster like tactics.
Ethan used his cult of followers aka the "hate movement" to label Edwin a meth addict and Mike a -phobe because it was beneficial to Dynamite and Barrucci to "show you what happens" when they get turned down.

Just a thought but I do believe Ethan and Barrucci tried to run CG like a mafia with Nick being the "godfather" hence why Ethan chose "uncle" another mafia term for someone who serves the Godfather. Them secretly running a money laundering scheme is also possible, I wouldn't put criminal activity beyond Ethan or Barrucci given their extremely unethical behavior.

Oz Art has made a fine highlight video to catch up non-autists on the current state of Warcampaign.
I love how Ro says "YBZ doesn't give a fuck". Those dumb fucks probably never listened to Zack further than "ESJAYDABLUS keep conservatives out of comics". He was never for nobodies with The Right Politics doing comics, but for talented people delivering mainstream cape shit that did not rock the boat too much.

Graveyard Shift 3 is the only campaign I've seen so far that has been carried by its secret tier.
So far the equivalent tiers (Blood Bag + Ashcan + Sketch and Creative Signature) have only sold 4 and 5 respectively to the 263 sold on the secret tier. It's difficult to compare because GY3 is the only CG campaign that offers the creator's complete work on the franchise: Zack's selling copies of Jawbreakers: Lost Souls for $100 a pop on his IGG and Frog isn't printing new copies of Bloodhoney to go in his Executive Honeycomb set. Most CGers haven't produced enough work to have anything even approaching a "franchise".
@FROG is reprinting BloodHoney for the box. Squarebound.

It's Cecil's first campaign too!
Chuck never, ever refused to work with me. In fact, he was very interested in working for me.

You knuckleheads just make stuff up.

I believe it. Chuck will work with anyone. Vox Day, Dynamite. He's pretty flexible.

Speaking of. New Cg conspiracies.

The first is a general one. The narrative Frog is pushing on the strike on Dynamite after they broke up with him. He believes that it was the SJWs. First, Frog knows people at Indiegogo. He could find out what happened and if there was proof of it he'd put it out on display. Second, would they lash out at Barrucci after he knelt to them and when it hurt the pros? They have a weak motive. You no who has a strong motive to want to hurt Cecil, Anna, Frog, and Dynamite. Warcampaign. This is their style too.

Oz put out a supercut hit piece. I don't think it proves what he wants. Outside of CG, @FROG saying something isn't proof.

Basically WC drops that Barrucci didn't want Sad Panda in CG. So he pushed Frog to get rid of him. Makes sense. Frog denies this. That's it. So two conspiracy theories. First, is Frog pushing the culture war narrative without any proof. The second is his gayop generals revealing something that I've felt was a missing piece, the motive to toss out Miller. Maybe they're lying. But it sounds like something Frog would do.

WC is irrelevant now, their numbers shrink every day.

Yes he is.

That's a little out there but who would be surprised at this point. Ethan did his best to hide the Dynamite connection until Vikki exposed the Ribbitcoin debacle and it became obvious that Dynamite is at least a partner in Ethan's business.

I believe it. Chuck will work with anyone. Vox Day, Dynamite. He's pretty flexible.
Chuck is flexible but he has issues with specific personalities in comics. If you listen to his shows he talks about editors he hated working for. It's entirely plausible that he would not work for Ethan given Ethan's rep and personality without there being animosity between them.

Ethan said some nasty shit about Chuck having to work for Vox Day out of poverty back in 2018 that would not have sat well with me if I was Chuck, the most prolific comics writer in the history of the medium.

I'm pretty sure the creator of Bane (and reciever of royalties) isn't eating catfood and writing for people he wishes he didn't have to.

And if Ethan could have gotten Chuck to work for him he should have gotten him to at least cowrite CyberTurd so there might have been some actual story to read.

It may very well be WarCampaign and the SJW's doing the same thing at the same time because they share a common enemy. If Ethan's contacts at IGG were feeding him insider info it would be stupid for him to put it out there directly because that's a good way to burn that bridge with IGG.

I'm surprised no one is talking about Ernst's visit to the WC DLive channel. I never saw that coming considering the way WC treated Ernst's friends Lim and Pellegrini among others.

There's some interesting talk about Dynamite around the 1:08:30 mark but their are some interesting bits throughout. I'm inclined to give Ernst the benefit of doubt in any situation but I really don't know what he was thinking stepping into Ro's parlour knowing that WC was gay ops central for all the grief in CG before they were excommunicated.

Zack has a real life lawsuit. Arguing with shirtless nobodies on the internet probably wouldn't be the greatest optics for him.

This might be a hot take that gets a lot of down votes but I don't care.
Richard Meyers lolsuit is a fucking joke and he's going to lose.
Mark Waid did nothing wrong warning Anarctic Press about comicsgate. Look at what a shit show its become.
The cult of ethan van sciver is a hate group and I pity anyone who gets involved with that fat retard. He comes across nice enough and he seems to be a real OG but I just cant get down with what he's selling. Outright lies and overpriced comic books.
SJW's are not the enemy, corrupt corporate comic book companies are. Guys like Nick Barrucci with no real moral compass are the real enemy and guys like him deserve to get fucked.
What Waid did was shitty and AP could have made a lot of money publishing Jawbreakers but from the looks of it Ethan had just as much a hand in sabotaging that deal [through his Dynamite doorway] as Waid did.

Richard can waste hundreds of thousands of dollars fighting a fruitless legal war when that money could have gone to producing dozens of comic books.
I'm a big fan of creating jobs but not for bloodsucking lawyers, fuck them. The money Richard has already pissed away on this bullshit could have paid multiple artists a years salary.

Despite how I may sound I dont hate Ethan I just disagree with him on a lot of things that doesn't make us enemies and I'd probably be considered "comicsgate" in the purest sense.

That being said I think it's a huge waste of energy to fight a loser like Mark Waid. I've actually met Waid, I've never met Richard Meyer. Waid was an okay guy. My interactions with Ethan on this site have been okay. The bad guys are the ones making decisions at a corporate level. I don't blame troons for making comics I blame the people who diversity hire them.

Its just like the beef with "man in a wig" mags no vag. Syfy network hired Brian. He has been hired to do multiple comics. I dont blame that MAN for accepting a job to pay his bills. I blame the people going out of their way to hire that faggot.

Good, the more people who get a copy of Bloodhoney the better. I really liked that comic, it's a god damned masterpiece. If Ethan offered to sell me a "honeycomb box" for $200 right now I'd take him up on it. Does a second printing devalue the first? Not in the slightest. My copy has a headsketch of CF, these won't.

The main reason I didn't back Rekt Planet is because Ethan himself didn't ask me personally to buy a copy. If he had, I would have bought one. I'm a big believer in customer service no matter how big you are.
The way I see it is if you're too big to ask for individual support you probably don't need it.

>Waid did nothing wrong.
>What Waid did was shitty in sabotaging AP.

Pick one.

When I first heard of the Meyer v Waid thing I thought what Waid was dumb and that the lawsuit would be quick and decisive. Now 663 days later, it seems that both are special sticker winners. Meyer's boomerism has grown stale and Waid's lolcow milk has dried up, just imagine all the hot takes he would had taking of Trump if he wasn't told to behave.

And @Analog Devolved, if Frog sends you an offer of a honey box, don't take it. He'll have your dox and he'll split roast you on one of his streams for them Superchats, "Heehee, look at this stupid kiwi. Thinks they are so smart well take that."

Federal court takes forever. Waid filed a motion to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction on November 2nd, 2018 and it took until January 13th, 2020 for that to be resolved. A jury trial is scheduled for April 2021.

Meyer said he doesn't want to settle because people donated to his GoFundMe, so it was never going to be quick and decisive. Waid also has a GoFundMe and wouldn't have waived the white flag to the likes of Meyer, not right away anyway.

As much as I don't like that Mark Waid called Antarctic Press, hasn't Zack proved Mark Waid right by now?

Zack and Malin have been to at least one con together since the book was canceled, when they went to Bell County Comic Con. Zack worked with Stallone, Chuck Dixon, Mike Baron, Ethan Van Sciver--all pretty popular names, and continues to make tens of thousands per book.

I don't see what Zack can used against Mark, but I see everything Mark can use against Zack. Plus, wasn't it leaked not that long ago that other companies wanted to publish Jawbreakers? Brett R. Smith has publishing contacts, and I'm sure Dynamite was knocking on Zack's door eager to put it out there.

Mark Waid called AP, but Zack was still able to find insane success, so what case does he even have left? The longer it goes on, the more it does in fact seem like an lolsuit. What can Zack possibly say besides "MUH PHONE CALL"?

They haven't even argued the case yet. The court has had to rule three separate times on jurisdiction. The merits haven't even been reached.

Which is literally what the entire suit is about and hasn't even been ruled on in any way at all.

The case is not just "there was a phone call", it is about that phone call causing damages, which there were none.

Zack could have still gotten into stores--even if he wants to say in every video stores are dying and make no money, he had/has connections that could get him in there. Dynamite, Alterna, Brett's publishing contacts. I don't know why he's going to have a lawsuit over a distribution channel he claims is dying...

He has gone to a con with no problem and can go to more--which he also says he doesn't like cons anyways.

He worked with Stallone and popular comic talent like Ethan and Dixon and many others.

His campaigns raise more on one issue of a comic than most people make in a year at their day job.

Where is the damage?

That's completely irrelevant to Zack's claim against Waid and quite naive. It can just as easily be argued that travelling to that con or doing con's period wouldn't have been necessary if Waid hadn't sabotaged his career path. Nobody knows what opportunities were derailed by Waid's interference. Your scenario won't even be mentioned.

It'd be the same as us saying you have no beef with Frog's crew for screwing you over because otherwise you wouldn't have started selling ebooks on Amazon.
