You said in that screen shot I posted we'd each get $4,000-5,000. Why not give me $5,000 and be done with it? You knew back then we'd each get $4,000-5,000, so what changed? Give me $5,000 and I'll leave you alone forever. You got to spend well over $3,000 on yourself by now (and that's just what I know of), so why don't I get anything?

Look at you asking for hush money like a little extortionist. “Pay me $5k & I’ll stop spreading lies & trying to damage your business.” That’ll look good in a small claims court, too.

I don’t owe you money for a business expenditure that you agreed to.

For the last time: You’ll get your contractual 50% of the PROFIT when it’s ready. Whatever that amount ends up being.

Do I need to explain that for a 50th time using visual aids?

That's not extortion. I'm not forcing or threatening you to do anything. I'm asking you to uphold what you already said I'd get. If you knew back then I'd get $5,000, what changed?
 
I hope Nasser gets paid what he was due for the project. Why would someone tarnish their entire reputation in business, break a contract, have to deal with a legal fight, and be a complete scumbag over a few thousand bucks? Doesn't make sense to me, but then again, a lot of what these guys do doesn't make sense from any sort of long-term business standpoint. That's why I peaced out and just make monthly comics with reputable folk who get the work done on time.

Are you really that dense that you don’t know what a guesstimate is?

Did you really expect an accurate number when I didn’t know the exact number of books I’d need to over order, quantity/cost of Gemini mailers needed, wrapping/packing materials, extras for customers, labor for a day of packing & other such operational expenses?

did you expect all that shit wouldn’t come from campaign funds like its supposed to?

What changed? How about the refunds you caused by creating drama trying to sell off your half of Brutas, spreading lies about me & calling customers retarded simps? Refunds that had to be marked as LOSS because fees were already taken out & the customer expected a full refund.

Your drama-needing ass caused $1200 in refunds just in one day & you think you’re getting a guessed amount made when the campaign started?

You don't need to do any accounting to send Nasser $3500. That's the amount you spent on yourself from the campaign fund. That money is flat out owed to him.

I'm an MBA, I am happy to be an impartial observer and look into the amounts agreed to be spent, the revenue and help come up with a proper solution based upon what you two agreed upon. I know a lot of times folk aren't necessarily good at the business back ends of this stuff but it's my specialty.

You say you're serious about arriving at a fair and equitable distribution of Brutas' profits with Nasser, but when Jon del Arroz, author of such works as The Cosmic Warrior, offers his services as an impartial observer you decline out of hand. I for one think that Jon's generous offer should be given at least a little bit of consideration, and certainly not dismissed so cavalierly. Give Jon a shot; after all, how much worse could things be?
 
You know it'd normally be about this time I'd ask everyone to stop shitting up the main Comicsgate thread and take it to the containment thread before the mods start thread banning people.


However since this is a shit fight between Donal, Ethan, Jon Del Arroz and Nasser, in the interests of entertainment and historical purposes I'd ask the mods to allow it to continue uninterrupted.

I'd look at matters and be 100% fair based on their agreement. I don't have anything to gain by being otherwise.

Sure. Let me just assume the guy that threatened Sweet Cast with his dox, thinks I owe him an apology, constantly tries to start internet beef with me to sell his book & is friends with Nasser, the guy spreading lies about me, is willing to be fair & impartial.

That seems like a better idea than giving someone half my IP!

This was hashed out on Kelsey's stream already -- Clint agreed that someone was posting private information on his channel comments about my family, literally actually doxxing, and understands that I, in private when talking to him, was using an example of "how would you like it if this was you" to show it's not good to go there. The result is we got the private information taken down because both Clint and I are opposed to such behavior.

Since him and I now have no beef you don't need to go off on fake news to deflect. This should just be a simple accounting matter that's straightforward.
