I think (read: hope) this will be good for Zack and Jawbreakers as a whole. Ethan is clearly a better project manager and is improving as he goes. Zack started off pretty well but has fucked up rather seriously over the past year or so in regard to getting his shit done. This partnership should hopefully bring some focus to the franchise and also allow it to expand further with the side stories. Ethan might also act as an editor and tell Zack when his ideas are retarded and help him direct the series a bit. I am hoping Chuck Dixon helps out a lot with the scripting as well. Zack should continue to rely on him.

Also, on the topic of ALL CAPS: I received Starblades yesterday. Kudos to @FROG for getting that out quickly upon taking over the publishing duties. The book is absolutely beautiful. Easily one of the best looking books to come out of CG thus far. The art is unassailable. Story? Eh. Relatively simple and generic, but not bad. Dialogue is iffy in places. But the whole thing has the energy of a kickass Saturday morning cartoon, which I enjoyed. Though I will air my obligatory grievance about editing. It could have used another pass through, Ethan. Several spelling and grammatical errors. I wish I could stop sperging about those things, but they jump out at me and I can't ignore it. It just breaks immersion when you have to stumble over misspelled words and misplaced/missing punctuation.

Comicsgate was "started" by SJWs\. Since they were (are) obsessed with gamergate they went "Gamergate is literally nazis, so the nazi comic nerds are comisgate!" and then started calling everyone who doesn't like comics about black lesbians a comicsgater.

It was never a choice, that is the armband these guys were forced to wear as they were targeted for cancellation. That they decided to own it and started selling their own product using it (specially after EVS fully embraced it) is a different story.

The CG argument against variant covers is specific to the direct market because it eats shelf space and forces shop owners to purchase dozens of covers to get the 1:25, 1:50, etc. variants. Then they're stuck with fucktons of non-returnable garbage and that's been a pretty big factor in the decline of the direct market and the closing of so many comic shops. That doesn't apply to crowdfunders on IGG and campaigns usually only have a few variants to give backers a choice if they want it. It's also more exciting for collectors, I suppose. I don't really care for too many variants myself, but it's not quite the same issue as what they've complained about in the mainstream industry.

Heh, forgot about that, yeah that was good. I notice his name on Youtube has changed to 'Lodonis Ravenwolfe' now, I wonder what happened there. Do we have to call him Lodonis Ravenwolfe now??

See that's what TFM is like. It's odd, but not really entertaining. Despite his Hulk Hogan moment, I still think Lodonis Ravenwalton is more illustrative of how generally dull they are.
