How much credit can Zack really get if the book is good? Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Zack's creative input on the book limited to writing one of the subplots and doing a pretty bland looking variant cover? It seems like the lion's share of his responsibility for the project is in marketing and fulfillment and he has absolutely fucked the dog in that area.

Yeah it wasn't his idea, it was Stallone's. Stallone knew Chuck Dixon from previous Expendables comic work Chuck had done, which had impressed him. So he came to him with the idea for the comic, and Chuck said Zack was the go-to guy for crowdfunding, since he'd raised a lot on Jawbreakers. So that's how they got together, and then Graham Nolan is a longtime collaborator of Dixon. Nolan actually said recently it was the hardest comic he's ever done. So based on Stallone, Dixon and Nolan, the comic is likely to be a very solid effort, especially in the context of CG's abysmal quality standards and writerless comic efforts. If only Zack hadn't done those horrible things to that poor dog...

I know this was discussed a while back in this thread, the JustSomeGuy tweets defending the San Francisco Gay Men's Choir. Saturday night Nick Rekieta had a stream featuring TUG, JSG, Golden Eagle, Mr. Obvious, ThatStarwars Girl, Yellow Flash and more. A fateful superchatter got through to broach the topic of the tweets and JustSomePedoDefender had a 28 minute diatribe to defend said point.

It's at the 2 hour and 12 minute mark of this 8 hour livestream.

The TL;DR:
- internet said these things so it can't be trusted. I guess being on the internet does not apply to YouTubers such as JSG.
-The photos were 100 pixels by 100 pixels blown up to 400x400 pixels so photos are bad and can't prove things.
-The guys were in different states and can't move because Court orders because we know that the left love honoring court orders.
-Since they would have had to travel to San Francisco to do their Skype call style choir song it's just not possible these are the same guys.
-The choir called the FBI and since we know that the FBI are super trump supporter conservative types there's no way the FBI would intervene if these guise were secret pedos or anything.
-The video was a private thing they shared in a group chat and if it wasn't for that dasterdly evil Alex Jones the rest of the world would not have seen this totally private, not meant for public "joke song".
-The "we're coming for your children" song was totally just a joke and taking it in any other way makes you a looney christian who is responsible for super mega oppressing all the gays ever.
-But muh muslims tho! This was a defense line.


Basically the entire gay community are good bois who dindu nuffin.



Later in the stream JSG goes on to Reel after another superchatter broaches the topic again calling JSG a Chomo Apologist.

The topic of James Fairbanks is brought up and JSG proceeds to try to explain away the details of that story trying to suggest that James
just got lucky that he accidentally killed a pedo and that the pedo had served his meager 5 year sentence and that was enough. He then proceeded to employ an altered version of the Milo defense when another pedo killed by vigilantism is mentioned by saying that because a rumour that the kid did not like the perpetrator being killed, maybe it wasn't a big deal in the child's mind.


This guy is really hung up on this topic and gets very upset and verbose at the mere mention of it.

Dean and Vikki had another stream where the primary topic was about Doug Tennaple. Not counting the Passion of Doug over with Nassar and the follow up marathon stream, is this the third or four one in a month?

Anyway, after pointing out that Doug lies and associates with Ro and Warcampaign, they spend time on Liam's latest meltdown before at the 30 minute mark turning to JustSomePedos defense of the San Franciso Gay Men's choir.

The key moment of peak tard cum from JSG may be his sniff test. He asks, would anyone have a problem if it was a Christian approaching a gay child to convert them to Christianity. I mean, one is to have a discussion about a jewish guy who got crucified 2000 years ago and the other is about grown men grooming little boys to have sex with them.

However, rather than point out that one is committing sexual abuse, the other is a well meaning adult having a conversation about crosses and blood and stuff; Vikki objects that yes people would have a problem (they would) and that she would have a problem. (Time stamp 42:14). She asks would anyone in the chat not have a problem with that???? Everyone would. Except old people in the South.

I don't know why this is so hard. The SFGM choirs song, in addition to being in poor taste what with all the sex offenders and being about grooming children sexually, is the epitome of condescending, hateful, and vicious.

In summation. Doug man bad and Mr. Dongs is right, Dox the choir.

16 days ago: Antonio Brice discusses the EVS cover of Brand: Way of the Gun with a concerned commenter. Antonio is dismissive of the commenter's concerns as he doesn't believe this individual backed his campaign, therefore denying "!" the right to express any doubts about the inevitable completion of the EVS cover. Antonio claims that he heard from Ethan "a few days ago" about the cover. There appears to be no doubt in Antonio's mind that Ethan will draw the cover.

7 days ago: Antonio posts an update on the Brand: Way of the Gun campaign stating that the EVS cover will no longer be available and all backers who selected this cover (i.e. the vast majority of his backers) will be allowed to choose another, including a new cover from an artist that has yet to be determined. Antonio apparently contacted Ethan who claimed he is too busy to fulfill his promise of a variant cover.

Just now: someone in the chat broaches this subject with Ethan, to which Ethan responds he hasn't spoken to Antonio in two years and has no idea what he's talking about. The last time I recall Antonio being on a CAPS stream is maybe February of 2020, shortly after the launch of the book in question, so we are certainly approaching two years since Ethan and Antonio spoke, at least publicly. I remember Antonio sperging out because Ethan wanted him to push his book, but Antonio "didn't come here to sell shit" and got extremely salty at people giving him promotional advice.

So... someone is lying. Let's hear it, @FROG! We want the truth! Why are you mistreating this poor man? Are you upset that he didn't ask you to be the artist on Daym Drops: Super Official? I bet that's it.

Someone talking about you on the internet, positively or negatively, doesn't make them a stalker or obsessed with you. A customer is someone who buys your book. Anyone who is a customer needs to be dealt with professionally within the boundaries of your business. Even if that person is unreasonable and hateful, your response is to politely offer them a refund and if they continue to cause trouble, you refund the book and tell them to leave. Politely.

You aren't Professor X. You don't know people's motives and you wouldn't be selling comics online if you were that good with social interaction.

I think JSG is projecting big time right now. I have a feeling that if one were to search through his hard drive that it would be full of CP.

I think he's just a swish who feels some tribal afinity toward gays in general that inclines him to defend them. I doubt he's a pedo but I wouldn't rule out the possibility completely.

It's in a waning phase. No Comic pro with any sense is going to argue with them publicly anymore - it appears to be sifted down to the Frog fan club.

The Pop-Culture Warrior space on YouTube is saturated and the primaries know it, the disenfranchised 45-year old Comics Fans have all been reached.

The large indicator will be when the aspirational creators grossing $2,000 to $7,500 all wrap it up and pack it in. This has been the most zealous proselytizers of CG, when they realize that is never going to be "their turn" it's largely over.

Yeah this started up five months ago in March when Zack Snyder showed up on Geeks and Gamers, said he didn't want Jeremy's logo on his charity because he didnt want to be associated with a hate movement and the "without respect we reject" leaders just stared at the floor and took it 'for the sake of the Geeks and Gamers brand'. You can read our posts here as it happened. This led to a schism between the mighty Fandom Menace griftlords that declared themselves as "moving on" from their original purpose and become more general pop culture whiners and increasingly optimized superchat extraction "shows". Standing against this was Frog, along with some of the smaller, more ideologically based Fandom Menace people, called upon them to stop consooming mainstream media and move on to consooming alternatives (like Cyberfrog).

Anyways, the latest flareup can be attributed to the handsome Jessi Milestone, who some months after the initial schism decided to side with histrionic "Merry Mayhem" against Gary "Nerdrotic" Buechler's consiglierie, Tom Connors of Midnight's Edge for abusive behavior in DMs, behind-the-scenes gatekeeping and generally treating them as disposable superchat chum instead of fellow culture warriors in arms. At no point did Jessi think that these stances and actions would be a problem if she crashed Nerdrotic's IRL paypig meetup, but it turns out that she was mistaken in this as Nerdrotic's wife called her unforgivably rude and told her to "get the fuck out" of there. Jessi wonders where the unity as "Fandom Menacers" went.
