I have a really difficult time seeing Warren Ellis as some kind of victim of cancel culture. People tend to somehow forget who the guy is and what he stands for. Back in 2017, he was a "punch nazis" social justice warrior. If 2017 Warren Ellis could give an opinion about someone accused of doing all the things he was accused of, he would have been absolutely and utterly in favor of their total cancellation.....if not in favor of simply killing them.
Oh without a doubt, Warren Ellis was one of the biggest proponents and champions of cancel culture. He uplifted most of the people who spearheaded the fight to cancel him. I cannot think of a better person to be a victim of cancel culture than Warren Ellis; the only thing that could improve it is his cause being adopted as a Comicsgate cause and all his former acolytes full of his teachings start to beat and punch him for being a "nazi".
Frog had a long stream today. The most interesting thing about it, other than his decision to dye his beard from a jolly santa to a dusty brown was (as pointed out by fellow kiwis)
Gabe Eltraeb impromptu deciding to join the show and take on the label of being associated with Comicsgate. I suspect Aaron Lopresti's crossing the aisle has won at least some minds over who left with the Christian schism of Comicsgate (and adjacent) that their place in the divide is not set in stone. Maybe these two are the beginning of a trend. We'll see.
This video by Meyer was gone over on Frog's show, a scathing reproach of the anti-SJW reactionary youtubers
getting dunked on by Simu Liu because of their Captain Marvel-esque predictions of
Shang-Chi bombing falling through. In it, Meyer argues that there is fundamentally no difference between Jeremy Griggs and Nerdrotic trying to argue that the Disney Marvel movies, having dominated movies for the past decade, suddenly becoming flops is as rational as
when schizophrenic comics twitter tranny Chloe Handler argues that the majority of Shane Davis'
Inglorious Rex is the product of a vast money laundering conspiracy whose purpose is to bluff liberals. Both are also really counterproductive things to say if one doesn't want to sound like a coping idiot. Frog, having his own issues with the former Fandom Menace griftlords, lauds the video as expressing perfectly how he feels on the situation.
I asked Frog about noted comics libtard Greg Rucka wanting to work with him for DC's 2007 event comic
Amazons Attack. Frog answered that he remembered something about how Rucka had a scene about the amazons storming Air Force One and personally beating up Dubya, and that struck him as really stupid, but doesn't recall much beyond that.
While the large Comicsgaters lazily streamed through Flynt Flossy videos, efapped and discussed Tim Drake being gay, in that time there was at least 3 videos about the great tard fight going on lower CG, with Nasser streaming, a Christopher Tamuelivich-hosted debate, a DA Talks expose and probably a few other bloodsports streams and vids being uploaded within the same six hour time span. This shows the difference between the half-hearted Comicsgate profit seeker vs the hard work ethic and and unquestionable passion of those in CG who are about getting mad online.
