Kyttie von Toyye, who came to prominence out of the e-beggar thread and earned one of her very own a month ago, has found her thread. The obese mermaid-obsessed autist duly unleashed a storm of tweets justifying herself and bemoaning the cruelty of KF. To the dismay of Farmers, none of the tweets truly explained her most famous behavior --electing to shit in buckets rather than toilets. She was also supposedly evicted yesterday but didn't address that at all and it seems reasonable to conclude that she is still living in her rat-infested apartment. No photographic evidence of rats or anything else was provided.

So, Funimation is dying as a brand:
Todd Spangler of Variety reported that Sony has restructured its subsidiary, Funimation Group, LLC, into Crunchyroll, LLC. Furthermore, all the titles streamed by Funimation (as well as Wakanim and VRV) are being transferred to Crunchyroll.
According to Spangler, "future new series will be exclusive to Crunchyroll starting April 1, and Funimation will only continue to add new episodes of current series":
I have no idea how this will affect Funimation's physical distribution (DVDs & Blu-Rays), but its streaming services are in hospice.
Another W for Vic! And another L for Monica "XXXL" Rial.

All time minimum?
Remember the days when a Model 2 Megadrive cost 300k rubles in the 90s when one US shekel was in the 3000-4000 ruble range?

Russia had RUR instead of RUB between 92-98. In 1998 they had a monetary reformed which included a denomination of the currency, something popular among most ex-communist states that experienced severe inflation.
$1 was 6000 RUR before the reform and $1 = 6 RUB after. All they did was cut three 0s, but the inflation was still there.
So yes, currently the ruble is at an all time low.
If Russia still had RUR then it would be ~120000 RUR for $1 right now.

While the Canadian greasy spoon staple has no connection to Putin or Russia, French speakers have chosen to mispronounce the name of the Russian leader because pronouncing his name as it is written in English would sound very close to “putain,” or “whore” in English

From what I understand, spelling it the anglo way would force francophones to mispronounce Putin's surname as the French slang for ''whore'' if anything, whereas the Poutine spelling is a closer match to the Russian pronunciation. The part you quoted from the article (and the NYT article it's based off) seems to be unaware of the fact that transliteration varies from one target language to another because its intent is to allow native speakers to pronounce a foreign word in a manner close to that of the source language.

Are we already going down the "Freedom Fries" route again?

Take that you Russian bastards!

Sherri Pappini, aka "Gone Girl" , the hot blonde woman who in 2016 was supposedly "abducted" by two Mexican women while on a jog and was found 22 days later with ligature restraints and a brand on her body, was charged with faking it and lying to investigators. She really just fucked off to fuck her ex boyfriend.

Florida man blames Putin for why he was speeding during traffic stop

Fox News

3 minutes

A Florida man, who was pulled over for speeding during a traffic stop last week, attempted to place blame on Russian President Vladimir Putin, authorities said.

The unidentified driver was pulled over by a Flagler County deputy in Palm Coast last Thursday for allegedly running a stop sign and going 50 mph in a 30 mph zone, the deputy said in bodycam footage released by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday.

According to the footage, the man gave the deputy a myriad of reasons as to why he was spending, including that he had just got the car and was trying to get it out of “sport mode.” The man also argued he saw another car coming and was trying to “get out before them.”

Soon after, the driver informed the deputy what he said was “the truth,” according to the bodycam footage.

“I just found out that Putin just said he’s gonna launch nuclear thermal war against the world, and I was trying to get back to my house to find out what’s going on,” the man said. “I’m freaking out.”

The traffic stop took place on Feb. 24, the same day that Putin launched an invasion of Ukraine and warned other countries that any attempt to interfere would lead to “consequences you have never seen.”

The driver got a ticket for speeding and another one for running a stop sign, Miami’s WPLG-TV reported.

A few days after the traffic stop, Putin ordered the Russian defense minister and the chief of the military’s General Staff to put the nuclear deterrent forces in a “special regime of combat duty,” raising fears that the Ukraine invasion could lead to nuclear war.

“Provocative rhetoric about nuclear weapons is the height of irresponsibility,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken told reporters Wednesday in response to a question on whether he thought Putin was “bluffing” as the Russian leader increased the threat level.

“It’s dangerous. It adds to the risk of miscalculation. It needs to be avoided,” Blinken said. “We’ve assessed President Putin’s directive and his statements, and at this time, we see no reason to change our own.”

Palm Coast is about 60 miles south of Jacksonville.

I think Chantal and Peetz stating they are pro Ukraine is pretty big news
Pretty much every retard with access to mass media is pro-Ukraine because their favorite fast food restaurant added a Ukraine filter to their facebook profile picture, it'd be noteworthy if they went against that or if Peetz decided to go shoot guns in Ukraine because of his extensive experience playing Mass Effect, but at this point I'd assume most people have a favorable view of Ukraine, often based on nothing of substance whatsoever.

I think it goes back to the long-running delusion that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election to help get Trump elected and that Trump and Putin were best buddies, therefore all of the performative leftists on the Internet must performatively hate Putin as much as they performatively hate Trump.. Hell, I heard a leftist talk show host today say that Trump was to blame for the invasion because he emboldened Putin (the obvious follow-up question about why he thus waited a year after Biden's inauguration to invade went unasked and unanswered).
