Also people are now reporting the game as broken on the steam store page, stating that it is multiplayer only and does not have enough players for matchmaking. Doubt that'd do anything there are plenty of dead multiplayer only games on steam, but hey ho.

You say that, but i would make a high-stake bet that if Gearbox would brought-back Battleborne in the current-year, with free pvp and (possibly) also PvE (all DLC and characters included) or MAYBE gated the PvE mod behind some, dunno, 10 bucks/euros, it would make a big comeback. Battleborne main issue was that it tried to compete with Overwatch at its premier, which was dumb, just by looking at the statistics alone from the closed and open beta-tests. Nowadays though, when the majority of modern hero shooters became corpo-slop and even Overwatch went to shit, i do think Battleborne could have a potential to become the topdog among hero-shooters. You have 3 (i think) PvP modes, interesting and fun to play (mostly) characters, with this Borderlands-y quirk to them, same for the PvE mode story, DLC's are kinda meh, they basically tell the story behind certain charcters before the events of the game proper, but hey, they are there. Ofc, everyone, who have purchased the game before its shutdown, whould have free access. And you could just shut it down again, if the reception would be not positive enough, to warrant the server costs. But since Gearbox, with Randy at helm, is such a marketing genius, who would rather invest in DEI consultation that completely fucks up one of your more popular IPs (Homeworld hint hint) that ain't gonna happen'.

Yongyea is on my permanent shitlist for fucking up Yakuza 8, well that game admittedly had a lot of issues but his awful Kiryu voice was the biggest one.

It's probably genuine thought there, since gaming jouronos have their heads REALLY that far up their asses.

And when are we going to get the articles that say that "Concord and Dustborn were about to help save Democracy, but Wukong and Deadlock destroyed their plans and threaten to assist Trump with destroying Democracy for good?"

Oh, I know, I was being sarcastic with that comment. These people really are incapable of thinking that its the game's fault for low numbers.

I can't provide number regarding units sold but there is a page called PS-Timetracker that keeps a record of the amount of accumulated hours played on all Playstation hardware and it can break it down by system per month, week or daily lists.

During this week, PS5 games like Black Myth; Wukon hit the number 2 spot, Broken garbage like Star Wars: Outlaws managed spot 23 and a declining title like Helldivers 2 reached spot 43. This list tracks the Top 100 games, Concord is not on it.


Nobody is playing this game on Playstation 5 enough time to even register .
