TL;DR: Eckhart Tolle is basically every common, modern day con man who takes on the mantle of MyStiC and mixes it with dribs and drabs of pseudo-Christian theology to appeal to a Western audience — except this one lucked out enough to get Oprah's imprimatur on his work so he could make bank. (Weird how so many who claim to have successfully transcended this world are still super into wealth and the finer things of this world, huh?)
Tolle's audience is mostly composed of the same bored, dumb housewives who think Oprah is a secular prophetess of some sort so it's funny to see him being cited by a fallen Chad who now eats his own poopoo. Man...now I kind of wish Oprah would endorse
