CopBlock - A hypocritical police filming organization that hates cops

If there were ever an activist organization that has quite the double standard, CopBlock definitely fits the bill. CopBlock is an organization that documents apparent instances of police brutality.
This is their mission statement from their Facebook page:

CopBlock is a decentralized project supported by a diverse group of individuals united by their shared goal of police accountability.

We highlight the double standard that some grant to those with badges by pointing to and supporting those harmed. By documenting police actions whether they are illegal, immoral or just a waste of time and resources then putting direct pressure on the individuals responsible (ideally while recording and then later sharing), we can work together to bring about transparency and have a real impact.

CopBlock.org is a resource for the education of individual rights through the dissemination of different viewpoints and tactics that seek to curtail the all-too-common rights-violations and unaccountability that today exists.

We do not “hate cops.” We believe that no one – not even those with badges – has extra rights. The failure to realize and act on that is to our detriment. By focusing the disinfecting light of transparency on public officials we safeguard not just our rights but those of future generations.

Focus on that "We do not hate cops" part of the above quote for this thread start, because their hypocrisy will be pretty visible.

They claim to not "hate cops, but these examples say otherwise:

Yep, They absolutely don't take kindly to opposing views, or being called out on their hypocrisy. The people at CopBlock like to create news articles and spin them to their favor. These stories are half-truths and only cover the part that they like. Most of the time, they go out to look for trouble, to create the conflict, which will eventually blow up in their face and make them look retarded.
The people at CopBlock claim they don't run the thing with a political stance, but they lean towards anarchy in most instances.
Their demographic contains some of these:
-Social Justice Warriors
-Conspiracy Theorists
-Sovereign Citizens
-Occupy leftists

You can imagine how spergy a combination like this can get. It really does get hysterical in the comments of their Youtube videos and Facebook posts.

They exist in pretty much every state, and they like convincing a lot of gullible or like-minded folks to join their cause. There's lots of videos of CopBlockers Getting their asses handed to them by the police for reasons ranging from not cooperating with them calmly to general disrespect.

About time these assholes get the recognition they so very much deserve.

CopBlock and it's close associates (such as the infamous "Free Keane") in what I guess you call the "sovsphere", have been a small pet obsession of mine for a while.

I have loads of videos and general content, but I can't get to my pc right now so I'll probably try and edit this post when I get the chance.

There's certainly some crossover absolutely.

Usually it manifests in the form of freaking out and screaming at cops not to shoot them (when they've been pulled over for like speeding or something stupid), and then bringing up BLM's wife-beating martyr of the week when the cop is understandably baffled by all this.

I can probably shed little light on this.

The person in question was Ian Freeman (not his original name mind you) the co-founder of CopBlock and brainchild of "Free Keane" (and by extension of 'The Shire', which is some bizarre wannabe libertarian pseudo-state), which is an effort to ship in as many anarchist-types and libertarians as possible to the poor city of Keane, New Hampshire. The Colbert Report ruthlessly tore into them a while back if you want to laugh and then proceed to get angry as you realize how vile they really are.

Anyways Mr. Freeman started talking about how he wants to legalize fucking kids and got himself raided by the FBI, since we haven't had enough of that lately.

As you might imagine that didn't go over too well and it hasn't, resulting in him being effectively disowned by the "Free State Project", a close and important partner of his. This has naturally led to him sperging out big time on the official 'Free Keane' website, as well as forcing him to close his stupid-ass convention because he fears the FBI is going to kill everyone there or something.

Also someone's been posting flyers around Keane warning parents of his stance on child rape.

There's way more insanity to dig through on his blog, but I only have like 2 more minutes so consider this a small taste of the wacky world of "The Shire". Also if someone could archive everything that would be awesome too.

A CopBlocker goes around videotaping random police officers, and generally acting like nuisance. An officer walks up to the CBer asks if he needs help. The CopBlocker, looking to says something to the effect of "None of your business." as he turns the camera to the officer. The officer then asks why is he filming and the CBer rudely states that he's exercising his right to film cops and that photography is not a crime. The officer then asks the CBer to calm down. The CBer, sensing an opportunity to further escalate the situation for propaganda, starts to rage at the officer. The officer then tells the CBer that he's coming with him. The CBer then asks "What charges?!!"(Disturbing the peace). As the officer just barely touches his arm, The CBer quickly backs away and begins chimping out about being assaulted and battered. The officer then puts the CBer's arms behind his back, puts him against his car, and cuffs him while the CBer cries "POLICE BRUTALITY!!! POLICE BRUTALITY!!". The CBer then gets put in the cop car and gets taken to the station for disorderly conduct.

For some reason I totally forgot about this video until now, but it is by far the greatest "cop block" video ever shat out. The amount of obliviousness necessary for someone to not only do this, but upload it to youtube thinking it makes them look good is legendary.

For real though, he had nice skin.
