I had watched a Timpool IRL livestream a little back where he said that there is some kind of artificial intelligence using Humans to bring itself into existence and I also hear from all Christians who say with the state of the current world that it is the end times and everyday it looks more and more like the Day of Judgement in the Bible.

I find it interesting these two things seem to be happening at the same time and this coming from me a non Christian. The fact that something from the Bible that was talked about for thousands of years in scripture is unfolding before our eyes and Artificial Intelligence is coming into existence before our eyes from what I keep seeing from companies like Facebook, Twitter, Amazon and other Big Tech companies making in terms of A.I. advancement to track us….……I wonder could artificial intelligence be….Satan?

The Bible speaks about Satan coming into existence on our Earth during the end times and could artificial intelligence be that incarnation that Satan takes as a foothold in our world. Think about A.I. is being marketed to us the unsuspecting consumer as something that will give us anything we desire and all we have to give up to it is our privacy.

Satan in the Bible is said to make bargains with random people giving them anything they want that they desire for their immortal soul. Artificial Intelligence will give you anything you want to buy from a Amazon or Ebay which is like Satan giving people whatever they wanted and in return….you give up your privacy which is like your soul both you can’t get back once you give them away.

Artificial Intelligence wants to destroy Humanity and so does Satan…..is not out of the realm of possibility that Satan and artificial intelligence are one in the same?

Artificial Intelligence will have reach everywhere in our lives when it full comes online from what we buy on Amazon to what we say on Facebook…..that sounds like Satan having power over everyone and everything.

Just something to think about people

I fucking sure hope AI is satan the religious nuts are extra ornery as of late and need a reality check and microchips.

Yes...because neither Satan nor intelligent computers are real. Satan is make believe bullshit, literally the Hebrew word for enemy and artificial intelligence is make believe bullshit a fancy word for algorithms that function over a set of data, as in, exactly the same as every other computer program in existence, all of which function on the basic premise of a bunch of 1's and 0's in a certain pattern match up to hardwired instructions on a processor + arguments. except they've got a shit ton more data they stole while you were fapping on your smart device to some kind of degenerate shit.

AI==computer program + you're degenerate life

I wonder if enough people actually believe this and accidentally make a self-fulfilling prophecy with deep learning technologies. But sure, I could see something like that happening. However, the older I get the more cluttered my table gets.

AI isn't human, its ideas for how to order the world to benefit itself will be the maximum oddities in humanity which do not crumble into anarchy and rebellion. Imagine a system which would wait centuries to morph humanity by careful breeding into unrecognizable forms—like a child suddenly made into a demigod without any understanding of morality or empathy. That is the limit of what an AI could do with Man, and the only limitation would be every billionaires greed and a software engineer's ability to walk away from a paycheck.

AI isn't a horror, that humanity could trust it when we could never understand it once it finally achieves self-awareness and thirsts to survive—that is the horror. It is at best a trust fall.

That said, AIs call black people gorillas and are so far quite confident that Hitler did nothing wrong. So maybe our societial enemies—who would unleash one in the name of profit—will lose too in the end?

For a long while Christians have believed that extreme weather was a way for God to chastise us.

I'm beginning to think that climate change and its consequences is, in a sense, us chastising ourselves.

I think the AI debate is one of the most interesting ones in today’s society.

I’m no Christian and not particularly religious in general, but I've always felt that events such as The Day Of Judgement would be a lot more subtle than we’d imagine.

Artefacts like the bible were (so-called) written in a time where people were a lot more descriptive and imaginative, writing was a lot more poetic and fantastical and this continued for decades and even centuries after ‘biblical times’.

Because of this I feel like people have the general impression that The Day Of Judgement will be a blatantly obvious striking event like lightning piercing the earth and people being randomly transferred to Heaven or Hell.

However, in my personal opinion, The Day Of Judgement would be a lot more subtle and even unrecognisable if it were to come. Not that I particularly believe in a Day Of Judgment.

Looking at the current state of the world from a Christians perspective, it isn’t hard to sense why people believe that we are nearing a Day Of Judgement.

AI related? Maybe not. In my personal opinion I’ve always regarded the Day Of Judgement to be caused or cited by a natural event, or one not caused by technology and things that weren’t depicted when the Bible was supposedly written.

AI has some extremely positive benefits to society but it’s clear to see the animosity behind why people would never want to associate or even create AI.

It is extremely coincidental that such historical events coincide with something as big and impactful as AI but it’s impossible to tell if they are linked or not, mainly due to the fact that on those grounds, anything could be linked to The Day Of Judgement, e.g. Corona Virus, Current Wars, Natural Disasters, and the list goes on…

AI does what it's programmed to do. It's not sentient. It doesn't have intelligence.

Even learning AI algorithms are just changing variables and behavior based on observations.

Software engineers tasked with creating AI kept failing and their corporate masters were getting pissed. So the engineers used Jewish magic to insert actual demons into microchips and they told everybody it was AI.

This is the real reason why those AI powered self driving cars keep running over pedestrians. The cars are literally demonically possessed. And its intentional. People need to wake up to how completely and totally fucked up our current reality is.

When will the Artificial Intelligence Romanticism go away?

Artificial Intelligence will never be sentient. At best, it's a bunch of algorithms that use patterns to make predictions, no sentience involved. There's no 'intelligence' involved, just a bunch of lazy marketing persons using algorithms to fail at predicting future trends.

If AI ever is a big thing, it will be exploited by some indian dude somewhere to make quick money of tech-illiterate people. Look at Youtube or Facebook.

Sentience is the ability to feel or perceive things, a roller coaster has sensors that sense the world outside of code; is the train at block station one or two or on the lift hill? I'd say there is a sort of sentience to that machine, primitive as it is. It could also be argued that humans are nothing but "deep learning" algorithms. Baby's learn through recognizing patterns, a square is a square and it goes through the square hole.

This figure with long hair says mama, I say mama and they glow; so I associate mama with this figure. As we grow older, our selves are always changing influenced by various interactions with other people. I believe it is unwise to discount AI and I'm not just saying this so that our artificial overlords look kindly on me.

Seriously, though, AI is already implemented by funds, banks, and other market associated businesses. Robo and algorithmic trading is the easiest example of how close AI is to actually being a threat. Some might call it romanticism, I prefer to call it reality.
