CyrusHowler is genuinely one of the worst posters on this forum who's incessant obsession with James, reddit and being a contrarian has ruined the reading experience of this thread. Not a single page can go by without him piping in with his low IQ, unasked-for opinion on why AVGN is better than it ever was. Cyrus was banned from Reddit a few years back for being a retarded sperg if you check reddit archive sites for his username and has been coping/seething ever since.

There was a period of time a few months back where I began the process of scraping this thread for all of his posts, categorizing them into normal posts and posts that mention reddit/TCT and the ratio was fucking ridiculous. It was almost 1:1. I also went through and charted all mentions of reddit/TCT and categorized them into posts made by Cyrus and posts made by other posters, and found that something like 30% were from him. I decided not to post it at the time because I thought it was too retarded and off topic to bring up.

I was hoping he'd get threadbanned at some point just for being an annoying retard but I don't think that's enough to catch one.

I’ve never said it was “Better than it ever was” that is a blatant lie. I’ve merely said modern AVGN wasn’t as horrible as some of the people on here pretend it is.

Peak slob era was worse, I will give you that. It's gotten better, but it's nowhere close to the classic days.

It’s never gonna be. Very very rare that a show running this long ever stays as good as it was. Sometimes you get shows that start off mediocre and then get good. But usually once a show gets bad, it never makes a full recovery.
