Like a few people on here, I'm familiar with the Dark Web and have come across many sites which state that they can give you Bitcoin for free (or relatively free) - sites such as: https://bitcoingenerator.me/ https://www.minebitcoinfree.com/
https://realbitcoingenerator.com/generator/
and https://captcha.6freecoins.com/premium200 state that you can receive free Bitcoins if you pay a Miner's Fee. Of course, they are Scam Sites and your 'free' Bitcoins never arrive if you have held out hope of a 'freebie'.

Whilst most of us would say 'if it's too good to be true...' sadly there are a lot of people who'd believe that they could somehow be Bitcoin Gods just by entering their Wallet ID and clicking on 'Mine'. They are unaware of the Scams and genuinely believe that sites on the Dark Web are factual and accurate. They aren't always - yes, there are Dark Web sites which are 100% legitimate and you can buy goods and services from them (sometimes illegal and illicit, but there we go) but most of these sites are scams or seem like they are.

Is there, however, that 'Rare Unicorn' of a website which can help you get more Bitcoins and which will do as it says - i.e. pay you in a big way without any hassle?

One of the sites promoted by the Hidden Wiki is this one:

http://blac3rgsummterbkxkfat67ttzhxz3wxcc6euwtdct4ksddqkx6onoad.onion/

Bitcoin, Ethereum and Monero can be yours - $50 will apparently get you $1000 worth of one of the three, whilst $500 will get you $10000!

Now, whilst this looks and sounds very suspect, why does The Hidden Wiki have this site in its list - usually scam sites are removed by the Hidden Wiki if people complain 'this site is not entirely honest and accurate'. The site looks quite professional as well, and the admin does reply to emails via dnmx.org.

If mined coins are being given away for a cut price, that sounds like a good deal - but is it? I'm not going to accuse the site of being a scam or dishonest without using it - or if somebody wishes to try in order to let the community know whether this site is legit or a scam - but if something looks or sounds too good to be true...

Another 'interesting' site, this time a mining one, is at:

Roughly £50 for a Miner which will mine $10 per day - is this $10 USD or 10 Bitcoins?

10 Bitcoins would be about $100k! Surely, too good to be true - or is it? If Faucets and the 'Free Bitcoin' sites can be at least perceived to be giving Bitcoin away then a £50 payment for a Miner who will mine 10 Bitcoins a day is amazing!

The admin at the email address shown in very small letters at the bottom of the site, does not reply to emails - when I recently contacted him/her about possibly renting a Miner, I received nothing back despite several attempts to make contact. Don't worry, no Bitcoins were exchanged!

Finally, you can apparently mine unlimited Bitcoins using this fancy download/app from the following website:

http://outlwlkeogfx6st5vurttiteaii4...?product=bitcoin-adder-get-unlimited-bitcoins

Whilst we could say (and we'd probably at least be honest by doing so) that sites like these are all scams, is there a tried, tested and respected website - clear net or dark net - which will allow you to mine out a good amount of Cryptocurrency for a small amount and allow you to keep it? Note, I'm not talking about Faucets or BS sites like Lootbits, I'm on about a site or even download whereby you can buy a Miner and if you pay say £50 you can get a decent amount of Bitcoin (£100 to £500 a day, or more) mined and banked with no problems whatsoever and is 100% trustworthy.

If such a site exists on the clear web or dark web, please comment below.

I know that the 'Dark Web' comes with risks and it is very much 'buyer beware', but if all or most of the sites are scams then there's little point in going there. There are some genuine sites related to Bitcoin on the 'Dark Web' but how to separate the chaff from the wheat is the big question.

Thanks for coming to my Bitcoin TED Talk!

Vomitusdeux, we must be reading two very different articles as my article is asking if there are any legitimate sites on the Dark Net or Clear Net where mining of Bitcoins can be done comparatively easily.

I am definitely NOT recommending that you or anybody else try them out - yes, I would be interested in finding out if another user has experiences of sites like the ones mentioned and also if they are all scams why Hidden Wiki and others still highlight them as 'legitimate' and 'verified'.

The last thing I want is anybody being ripped off, hence my OP here asking which sites are legitimate (IF any) as well as to hopefully form a debate/discussion on how scam sites can be avoided or shut down as Hidden Wiki has in the past removed sites from its listings.

'Why should I believe you' - because I'm looking to educate as well as be educated by the Crypto experts here. I don't want you to believe me 'just 'cause', there's actually substance behind asking 'why are there so many scam sites on the Dark Web and what is the point of the Dark Web if most of the Crypto sites are dodgy af?'

Click on them, or don't click on them - that is your call.

Hopefully a Crypto expert can pass comment as there are sadly those sad, deluded fools who think that the Dark Net is a playground where everything can be bought for free or nearly free - from Bitcoins to PayPal ID's etc. Yes, you cannot educate idiots out to do bad that they too will be scammed, but is it my place to comment if an idiot wants to buy 'illegal smokes' on the Dark Web etc? Possibly apart from CP, I don't give a damn what people buy there as long as it doesn't harm others - they know the risks (or should) and if they get caught... it's on them.

So you want to buy something for between half and a tenth of what it makes per day, and don't understand why that might be a retarded concept? I bet you're one of those mongs who buys stock or FOREX trading guides without questioning why the person is selling guides instead of just making the money using the guide.

I do understand why it's a retarded concept, East, and the question was ironic in that I knew that the answer would be a big fat 'No.'

Yeah, there are Mongs on the Dark Web who believe that these sites are real because 'if clear web is real than dark web real also'. Fortunately, I have no interest in letting go of any Bitcoins that I have, but sadly we have the gullible souls who believe that if they give a small amount of Bitcoin they'll get 5 Bitcoins back (or more). We can't solve stupid (sadly) but we should be able to warn them better.

Then again, it's not as if Exchange Sites on the Clear Web are any better - Symlix and Paxful are well known for being dodgy with scammers intent on cleaning out the gullibles.

I did have an interesting PM from a Crypto Expert here who gave possibly the best and most mature answer to the question:

'It's impossible to do a 'safety guide' to Dark Web Crypto and the scam sites which you've mentioned, because a lot of people there aren't 'safe' as individuals and are taking extreme risks.

'The Hidden Wiki can be manipulated as well, it's a guide but not a total trustworthy one - the Dark Web is not a place of trust and you can't sue people who have sites on there because they steal your money (just as sometimes there's little come back if you were to trust a random person on an Exchange Site, because scammers be crafty as we all know).

'As you've said, if ANY site looks too good to be true then it is regardless of where it is.'

what a retarded fucking scam

If you had to write multiple paragraphs about this specific topic to my response then you're either shilling a scam or actively being scammed. I'm not reading a wall of text about darkweb crypto currency though so maybe just don't do any of this stuff in the first place.

I'm asking the community about how to prevent people on the Dark Web by being sucked in to scams the answer appears to be, from an actual expert, 'you can't fix stupid people and the Hidden Wiki doesn't care about scam sites being listed on its directory.' Therefore, whilst there are some legit sites there, the crypto ones are all fraudulent and should have their link removed.

Of course, the Dark Web is the Wild West and hit and miss between a genuine and a fake site.

If I was that interested in scamming people for Crypto (and I'm 100% not as I'd be carted off to the local HMP), I'd be on Symlix or Paxful etc. taking advantage of dumbass mofos and not on here.

As the new Crypto Bill comes into force, some people who are already 'locked out' of buying Crypto (KYC reasons or whatever) might well be tempted to circumvent 'the law' and try their luck on the Dark Web. Of course, they'll come even more of a cropper on there.

Anyone trying to do something like this is basically taking downloadmoreram at face value in terms of being a complete and utter retard.

I don't care if cryptobros get scammed and lose their house, their jobs, their wife and kids etc. I don't care about how many cryptobros end up throwing themselves off buildings because they've put themselves in a hole they cannot get out of, they deserve it for ruining the gpu market.
