Exactly. That whole cringe worthy description coupled with the being held for two days along with his 'technicality' that would make it impossible to get a conviction on kidnapping or rape...I'm just not buying it.

First she it says "because of a legal technicality, a conviction would've been difficult, and I decided not to pursue charges". But then it's "and the cops tried to talk me out of pressing charges, because everyone would know I'd been raped, and how embarrassing would that be?". Regardless of wether or not I believe her it, or wether "I decided" and "they tried to talk me out" is a contradiction, I find disguisting how quick she it is so assign bad intentions to everyone else. Seems to me that all she it wants is to make everyone else feel guilty. And push her its political agenda.

This has been my assumption all along. My guess is that he had fantasies of being totally dominated, humiliated, used, and degraded, probably with no safeword, and found somebody sadistic enough to act that out with him--only to discover that a lot of hot fantasy kink is best kept in the realm of fantasy.

He met up with somebody for a consensual BDSM experience, and the reality of it was more than he was prepared for. And yes, there's a lot of ways in which that experience could have gone from being consensual to being rape--if safewords were ignored; if there was an agreed-upon time span that the dominant extended without Dave's permission; if there was to be no penetration, but the dom did it anyway; or if other people were allowed to join in on sexual activity without Dave's consent. But whatever happened in that encounter, it all started with consent, with Dave's willing participation, which is why successfully prosecuting the case would have been virtually impossible.

And I don't believe anybody had to talk Dave out of pursuing it; he does seem to get a thrill from being humiliated and degraded (else why would he go forth into the world as such a bog-ugly transvestite, demanding to be seen as the woman he's clearly not?), but the risk of becoming publicly known as a rape victim in a gay sex-dungeon scenario that he willingly entered into? I don't think he was willing to go that far. Not until now, when he's permafucked his life and reputation, and actually has something to gain from being seen as a rape victim (unsavory details of his consensual participation omitted).

And yeah, a bad BDSM experience like that can really fuck somebody up mentally, especially if they're already sort of damaged. But I don't believe that all of his current self-loathing and disgust at his body started with that specific incident. As an autogynephile, it was already there.

Now that you put it that way, the hair stroking part is consistent with an "aftercare", which further supports the idea of a BDSM session gone wrong. If it is true, then she fails to warn her fellow kinkster that stuff like that might happen. Most BDSM enthusiasts do it, so first timers are aware of the risk, but -if it's true- then she seems not to give a fuck about other people.
