I think this could go either way. Dave has previously exaggerated his health, particularly his cardiac health. However he's a fat, hypertensive histrionic who isn't getting any younger, so he could have hissy-fitted himself into demand ischemia, probably on camera. Maybe Dave takotsubo'd from all the harassment and stalking and being homeless in a nice apartment; that'd be gender-affirming as heck.

Not every heart attack is acute pain, clutch your chest, collapse drama and treated as an emergency. My guess is he threw a hissy fit, and got taken to A&E where they put the peg on while they work out what is wrong with him. That can take hours and he’ll probably be in his street clothes snapping selfies until they decide he needs to stay in overnight. But note that Dave is not saying when this heart attack happened, or its gravity. It’s entirely conceivable they found evidence of a mild heart attack from months ago and released him for follow-up with his GP, and our delicate drama queen is milking it for all it’s worth.

I haven’t had a heart attack, thank Christ, but a family member discovered they had had one at some point during treatment for another medical problem. They hadn’t noticed any distress (admittedly they were pretty hardcore, but they would have acted on chest pain).

I have however done the A&E cha-cha and sat around in normie clothes for hours with a peg on until told whether I needed to stay or not. So Dave’s self portrait in a grotty t-shirt seems perfectly plausible.

i do think him trying to steal some expensive tat he felt entitled to from mommy and daddy is the most likely scenario, esp when the theft charge is combined with harrassment charges.
