In short, Jack takes the admittedly doable idea of making a mature work in a cartoon style, (like Conker's Bad Fur Day) and waters it down to a mess of blood, gore, and edginess. But this is not the lowest Dave can go. Dave has a rape fetish. Dave's wife called a radio show named Loveline about his fetish. Dave then proceeded to turn this incident into a plot line in his comic. This plot ends with the man raping his wife. But it gets worse. One of Dave's fans told him that she was molested as a child, and he fapped to her confession. In the same message, Dave shares his "secret rape art" and talks about how tiny his dick is.

There was also kate-comics.tumblr.com, which was a repository of fan "edits" of Jack made by disgruntled former fans. I think I remember first being linked to them on f-chan, but Kate archived pretty much all of the known riffs before it was DCMA'd.

Kate also hosted a remix of Megan's Run, which went over well enough that the artist decided to continue remixing Jack arcs on a separate Tumblr. It's worth checking out what Jack could be like with some basic competence. They're working on The Screaming Barrel right now and I'm actually excited to see what they do with it.

There's a really large anti-fandom of Jack that has a fixation on trying to salvage some of the ideas and make them work. I admit I've been tempted to do the same myself, since so much of Jack reminds me of the comics I wrote in high school, except mine had anime people instead of Tiny Toon knock-off furries. Jack sucks, but it's just interesting enough that you want to see where the fuck Dave is going with his half-baked ideas.

Well, except the Debts arc. That entire arc is fucking unreadable space marine fantasy wank.

I also think it's worth noting that in the early 2000's, Jack was one of the biggest furry webcomics on the internet, since there weren't a whole lot of other comics that had its particular blend of furries with morality tales and Heaven and Hell and whatnot. People genuinely liked it. It's hard to believe in retrospect, especially given that Dave has not only made no improvement in more than a decade, but he's actually gotten worse, and as the comic goes on, it becomes more and more clear that Dave has no idea what the fuck he's doing. His is a gradual fall from grace, to where he is now, with an anti-fandom that dwarfs his TRUE and HONEST fanbase.

Jack is my favorite trainwreck.

All I can say is FC's story is fishy as hell. She claims to work with the FBI but has provided no screen caps of her interactions with Dave. She also claimed to have helped catch over 100 online predators last year. While I don't doubt that Dave is a creepy mother fucker, FC's story is full of holes and neither side has come forward with evidence to support Dave's guilt or innocence.

Another lie in his journal, he says nobody asked him for his side of the story. The women's friend did ask him for his side. His response was this.
