Since this is now the designated DBDR update thread, it looks like our boy is in some hot water at work. Maybe his health took a hit or there's something he's not telling us, but he's on an unpaid leave for a month for "nodding off behind the wheel".

And then his deadbeat loser of a dad called him to beg for money before taking him out of the will (lol).
 
He is one of the OG blackpiller Youtubers.

The only thing is that he has had far more social experience that most of us, which is why he has so many stories.

And then the axe of Jewtube came down and exterminated him and the black pill princes, and the suffering of the European male was hidden once more.

DBDR is reminiscent of a lot of old friends, and his introspective perspicacity is a trait I am particularly kindred with.

I thought he was newer, was he around during the time of figures like Eggy or thinking-ape? Used to follow a lot, blogs and forums especially, much of their names have escaped me as their presence on the net has withered away due to the unflinching march of time.

DBDR is a lot newer than the other well known blackpill channels. Eggy and Thinking Ape started in the mid 2010's while DBDR didn't start till around 2021 IIRC.

The Casino needs to have DBDR as a guest one of these days. He'd also make a lot of extra money if he'd just swallow his pride, make a Patreon and stream every now and then with donos enabled.

Not a lot to elaborate on. Just like toxic optimism, it can get annoying after a while, blackpill eventually runs of interesting things to say and just repeats the same statements over and over. It does sound like he is more entertaining and has actual reasons to be that way, rather than people like Synthetic Man who have an okay life and their main issues stem from their personality.
 
This DBDR vid in particular hits close to home for me. I may have had more success than him, but does that success really matter when you've come to the horrifying conclusion that most women that were attracted to you were fucking mental cases? My ex was nowhere near as bad as Fiona Poocrack but she had issues and baggage that were too much for me.

Before I met her, I actually thought I was winning because every other month, a BPD egirl would slide into my DM's and lovebomb me. I was such a fucking idiot but at least nothing came from that.

I would never. She wasn't BP level insane but the red flags were there. SSRI's, antipsychotics, parents divorced at a young age, drinking problem, said she was sexually assaulted twice by dudes off of dating apps. You know, the works. At the ripe old age of 26.

I'd rather raise my standards and be single for years to come than be an oofy doofy for a woman like that.

One thing ive noticed is a lot of incels feel intense envy and desire like this black youtuber, but DBDR doesnt seem to have much envy. Now, i only started watching DBDR recently so I havent gathered much of his lore just yet.

i believe he said he was willing to a while ago, but they stopped covering him and he also rarely commits to things he says he'll do so i think its unlikely. could be entertaining, though. you can have your criticisms about him, but the guy's funny/skilled at storytelling and you cant say he hasnt tried at all to make it in life. i feel like him and the Casino could have a similar relationship as they did with PWR before he totally lost his mind, where they're able to get along.

i seriously doubt it. not only is he faceless and protective of his identity, but hes self-aware enough to avoid lolcow behaviors. one of the main reasons he doesnt want to stream and become more of a typical content creator is because he wants to avoid that trap. he'd rather work a normal job than risk going down that path for easy money. all he really does is post rambling videos once every other week, theres not much material there unless you just want to point and laugh about how "HAHA HES A LOSER!"

as much as i want him to stream, i understand why he avoids it, but i feel like hes conscious enough to avoid becoming a lolcow even if he does go that route.

Guy was kicked out by his family, completely broke with the rest of his (toxic) social circle and pull himself out of (car) homelessness at mid 20s, after a lifetime of learned helplessness due to his parents incompetents, to get a trucker loicense, somewhat stable employment and his own apartment all within late 2024 to late 2025.
If anything he has managed to rebuild his life from the ashes of his previous, actual, lolcow existence.

Not quite accurate to me, I’d describe it moreso as a delve into the life of an above below-average (in school, this would be an average member of the “regular” class as opposed to a member of the “honors” or “AP” class.”), not the absolute lowest in terms of intelligence nor the most unpopular loser (the one everyone would pick on) rather a “background character.” His curse (and what makes him a good storyteller) is being overly introspective/self-aware/perceptive for his level of intellect (whereas a normal mediocrity would just trudge through life thoughtlessly and/or with an unreasonable sense of hope). Though, I think with actions like avoiding becoming a ‘tuber/NEET and getting a real job alongside avoiding certain other vices I have hope that he’ll take advantage of this “curse” and live a “good” life (at least insofar as could be reasonably expected by the means he has available to him). For me, what really generates the morbid curiosity is the thought that so many people live such grim lives (many, with even substantially
worse fates) in the lower rungs of society (maybe ~half for the white population, and an even higher proportion for other races). Dbdr really encapsulates that idea well with the “hat goes flying” Sonic’s guy’s utterly defeated existence.

The thing about lolcows is that they have a high recidivism rate. Repeat offenders, so to speak. Old habits die hard and I can easily see DBDR falling off the wagon and going right back to being a jester punching bag for shitty "friends".

His lolcow status depends on whether or not he keeps on course and stays away from his psycho mom's influence and avoids toxic "friends".
