It's been over a week since his last video. Either he got the trucking job and is on the road or his uncle manipulated him back into his influence and he's zonked out on Seroquel again. The silence is defeaning.

His uncle set him up and cooperated with the police to involuntarily commit him, misrepresenting the fact that he defended himself against his uncle's assault? I take it back, I would choose being alone working a shit job over this fucking guy. Of course hindsight is 20/20.

I had a bad feeling that his uncle was just luring him back to get him in trouble. People who have been that insane for that long don't have come to Jesus moments like that, not to mention he claimed that "the police helped me realize my fault in this," as if the fucking cops are going to be rational and take the side against the only person whose story they have. He's too forgiving and too trusting.

DBDR got gayopped by a literal boomer. I swear this man's life is just one bad ending after another. His story makes me appreciate my life more than anything right now. Being dealt a few bad hands in life isn't the end of the world because at least you weren't spawn killed by your own family.

People tried to warn him that this would happen, and it happened. I'm fully convinced that DBDR is the only person in his whole family that isn't legitimately evil, and his uncle sounds like the worst of them all by a wide margin. That being said, he's WAY too gullible, especially after all the shit he's gone through. It kind of proves how good natured he is deep down to not be jaded by his circumstances, but holy shit man a line needs to be drawn somewhere.

DBDR is one of the very few people outside of the third world who can actually say that his life was over before it began, have it be true, and have it not be his own fault. With family like this, he was fucked from the start. Ironically, the fact that he continues to chase normalcy is the most absurd and incongruent thing about his life.

Seriously, only people born into war-torn third world countries, women living under Taliban control and people born with agonizing genetic illnesses have it worse than this guy. It's insane to think about. The worst part is he can't even cope with hobbies because of his hormone/mental issues. Many other American men in DBDR's shoes would've just disappeared into a world of video games and escapism like the other defeated ogres.
 
What a mess. Shit sucks, but he got a roof over his head, food, meds, and enough freedom to use his laptop apparently to make music ? And all of that on tax payers money ? It does sound like an opportunity to rest for a bit, if they don't hook him up on Xanax for good.

The injustice of the situation is genuinely frustrating and his uncle should be sent to Ukraine, but it would have been much worse if that cost him his trucking job. Since these guys ghosted him, because of fucking course they did, I feel like the current circunstances ain't that bad.

Maybe this is it, the last chapter before the professional steamer arc. Might be for the best. Let's hope he doesn't get in troubles with junkies or weirdoes wherever he is.

the fact his uncle was able to fake being a normal, empathetic person, all as a ruse in order to lure DBDR in and get him arrested/institutionalized, shows just how insane this motherfucker truly is. this is crazier than everything else we've been told about him. what a psycho.

im glad DBDR is at least using this as an opportunity to lean into streaming/monetizing his content, but knowing how things usually go for him there is some chance that goes wrong and his fear of becoming a lolcow comes true. i dont want things to go badly for him but if they do im along for the ride.

Dude is not a political sperg, doesn't meltdown because of mean comments, has avoided e-begging for a century despite being litterally homeless or slaving away in a warehouse full of mexicans, doesn't do drama shit. I don't see him texting minors or getting catfished either.

I think he will manage if the Bottle doesn't haunt him again later on.

in one of the streams of his i caught, he was in his car shortly before going homeless, probably a bit drunk, and he was more angry/unhinged than he usually presents himself in his videos. he was straight up talking about how badly he wanted to deck his mom in the face, for example. he definitely has less of a filter when hes streaming as opposed to recording a video, which could bite him in the ass if he ends up saying regrettable things. it could have been the alcohol, though. and you are generally right that he doesnt exhibit too many lolcow red flags, particularly the fact hes relatively self-aware and doesnt have a huge sense of entitlement (well, some may argue that point but he definitely doesnt feel entitled to money)

we'll see how it goes, but the one thing for sure is that he'll make farrr more bank than he would settling for another warehouse job. he may not have a huge viewer base, but the 25k subs he has are loyal, so i imagine a decent chunk of them will sign up for a membership, and he'll likely get a few whales who dump huge amounts of money on him if he livestreams. its the right way to go if he handles it correctly.
 
DBDR's froglet uncle is one of history's greatest monsters. His froglet gut is positively bursting with the evil contained inside and I hope only the worst for him. Seriously, what a psychopath... it's so brutal, dude.

I wouldn't put it past him to go back to his family even now. Go back 6 months or a year on the hat flying channel and you can see him complaining about how fucked up his family is, dad took him out of the will, uncle is out of his mind. But the pull of family is strong, and seems to be too strong for him to break. Couple weeks ago he was talking about how depressing his life in the midwest was, mostly because he had no family. So basically he has to get his own family, or go back to his family. Which is more likely?
He might chad out after the funny farm visit doe.

This is pretty much just as fucked up, if the company knew about where DBDR was, prior to them asking for an in person interview. Though he was on drugs at the time so it's not unreasonable that they would ghost him after having him drive a thousand miles to Florida... It's still fucked up.

I remember that stream being pretty damn unhinged compared to his normal videos. He was saying “THE DICK DON’T FIT! Figure it out dude!” and doing mad Joker laughs while obviously drunk. He needs to make sure he stays away from the bottle at all costs when he starts streaming again.
