I'm surprised that his comments on his recent yt video are calling him a passive pushover even though he basically told his mom that the only other time wants to see her is when she's dead and he has a very subtle, but very pissed tone when talking about his uncle Frasier when his uncle told him that he has the money to ruin his (DBDR) life.

Because everyone warned him against going to his uncle after last time. He is fucking crazy. An absolute goddamn lunatic who made him take a drug he was told not to take and then blamed him for it even though he was the one forcing him to.

When it comes down to it, nearly everyone in DBDR's family has been sabotaging him. This shit is just soulless garbage. Big Pharma and all this mental health bullshit that's really state sanctioned and supplemented drug dealing deserves to burn in hell.

Watching this shit really got me fucked up, and it's like, what the fuck is he even supposed to do.
It's upsetting because of all the fuckers like DBDR living NEET lives, not contributing to society, bed rotting, etc, he's one of the few that seems to be willing to at least try and figure it the fuck out.
Like dude already says all his other sub-5 friends are on disability, he knows he can get it if he wants to, and there is a life where he just fucks off and bed rots for the rest of his life on disability and government gibs.

I was really hoping he would be able to get it together, but the mans life is actually working against him, and it's insane.
 
Reading the thread up till now reminded me of Ulillillia. Except this is waaaaay more depressing because at least Ulillillia had parents who gave a shit or at least tried their best.

What reminds me of him though is the care most people seem to have for our poor Ogre and his genuine drive to try and fix his life. I hope for the best but Xanax and benzos in general are a motherfucker. Whatever place he got committed to is just gonna give him a script and let him loose, when they shoulda got him a taper, and then set him up with proper therapy.

He's gonna get out and then eat 3 months worth of Xanax in a week :(
 
Damn didn't know Saint DBDR had a thread here. It's literally never been so over. The 80k job just had to go flying. I remember Kino Casino did a segment on his famous "Defeated Sub 5 Male" video and posing the question "Is DBDR a lolcow?". For a long time I thought "no." because there was no reason to troll and he was a genuine guy. But Godfuckingdamnit if he never listens to people trying to actually help him. Dude's gotta have a legitimate case of stockholm syndrome with his family. The family pill really is the hardest pill to swallow. It was over before it even began. YOU'S IS GONNA FREE MY BOY HE DINDU NUFFINS YA SEE DAT'S WHAT YOU'S GONNA DO I SAID.

Him getting on disability and finding a place to NEET it up in would be the good ending TBH. Then he could become a full time Youtuber/streamer and collect dono money for extra income.

And to think his family set up a group home fund for him alongside his cousin's college fund. Literally the most Munchausen syndrome thing a family could do for their troubled son. In one comment, DBDR even said his mom wanted to put him in a group home as early as when he was 16 so "she could retire".

Yeah, his uncle knows about his channel and is basically threatening him legally, so I actually think it's very wise of him to not say very much about it until he's out of the state.

Economy is cooked. One goat costs 12 bushels now. Scribes keep inventing new taxes. Sea Peoples apparently "on the way", and I'm out of copper. Our shaman assures us that this place is sacred and under the protection of the one true God, so we just need to keep sacrificing overpriced goats and we'll be fine or whatever. Everyone is apparently okay with this. This place is brutal man.
 
Poor boy needs to opt for FREE sushi, steak, greek takeout and not junk food.
What a joke the group homes are where they won't step-in and enforce not allowing him to stuff his face with that stuff all the while prescribing him medication for his "mental health". What fucking clowns!
 
I finally sat down and watched the video and don't know how to feel. Just nuclear, earth-shattering levels of OVER. The group home is going to break his body with pill cocktails and unlimited access to slop food. When he gets out is he going to be coherent enough to file a lawsuit?
 
Holy shit that was depressing to read. I don't know much about this guy but it legit sounded like he wanted to work and be productive and boomers FUCKED another one for their own selfish reasons.
 
I'm glad he came around eventually but things seem to be escalating even further. Good on him if he actually goes through with the RO.

Oof, DBDR is such a unique case for that question, even in the context of blackpillers, it's hard to answer.
Personally I don't think he's a lolcow, primarily because the issues in his life aren't really the result of his online activity, and for the most part it does seem like he wants a better life and has tried/is trying to achieve that.

I've been following him for around 2 years now and I've never heard him come off as delusional about the kind of life he deserves or is aiming for. If anything he sells himself far too short.
I think for the most part his aspirations have been to get a job that pays enough to survive, and that's it lol.
