I cannot answer that as DC is such a mess. I am not sure what the best decision is. Personally, I think they should have just kept him and did the young Superman story with Jonathan. We know Damien is coming, so you can set up Supersons that way, plus there won’t be that weird age gap between Batman and Superman. Gunn’s universe should be tapping into the super family part of DC as, unironically, it is DC’s biggest selling point. While he seems to somewhat with Supergirl and Damien, both seem shitty and are just not enough. People want to see Titans or Young Justice, instead we are getting Creature Commandos and more Suicide Squad.
 
Just getting around to watching the latest episode of The Flash. And of course they bring over the tranny from Supergirl. At least it's a much shorter episode when you skip all of his scenes. Even the power of TV makeup can't hide him.

The DC_Cinematic sub turned into a Gunn fanclub almost overnight. You can't even discuss the old movies without getting downvoted and being accused of living in the past, and they've started locking topics about the Ayer Cut for no reason other than everyone gets hostile as hell when it's brought up.

I'm surprised people forgot almost quickly about the Blackwashed Red Death this season.
 
This fucker paints a few Custodes and repeats some internet culture memes in interviews and people forget that Cavill's Clark Kent was dog shit. Most of that has to do with Snyder's writing, but there wasn't anything in those movies he did to save it. I will go on the record saying Routh was a better Superman in a better movie than any Cavill starred in.

The Cavill part, despite being kinda retarded is at least just your opinion to accept. But how the fuck can someone like Superman Returns is fucking beyond me. Hell, your opinion feels wrong just by the fact that you seem to have a shit taste, or just look like a nostalgiafag.

Superman Returns is a very mediocre movie, that puts it a leg up over MoS-BvS-JL.
 
Cavill is a tragic case of perfect casting but absolute shit writing and directing. It's such a shame he isn't able to be Superman in a good movie, and WB letting Cavill star in The Rock's vanity project was definitely one of their worst decisions.
 
Loved the Blue Bettle trailer. If WB is smart they would start working on a Titans/Young Justice universe with Blue Bettle as one of the members.

Blue Beetle looks fun. I don't really go in for DC these days, but I'll make an exception for him if the reviews are good.

The worst part is that Jaime and Bruce arguably have one of the strongest relationships in outside material. Brave & The Bold, Justice League Action, and Injustice 2 depict them as a very likable duo and it is due to this content that Jaime is even popular to begin with. Hopefully DC doesn’t fuck this up in the live action universe.

Popular is a subjective term. Jamie is definitely a cult-favorite who has maintained a steady presence is non-comics media. His first series lasted a respectable three years, but the New 52 and Rebirth series didn't last very long before cancellation. He is definitely more popular than his predecessor, Ted Kord, who I would say worked best as a double act with Booster Gold.
 
Why would you make the last tagline in your trailer for your new film shitting on one of your most iconic and famous characters?
