The classic Disney Channel Original Movie, The Luck of the Irish turns 24 tomorrow
Disney_-_The_Luck_of_the_Irish.jpg

In celebration of getting old, what are other great DCOMs back when Disney wasn't (as much) total soul sucking goblins?
Brink! and Mom's Got a Date with a Vampire are two of my favorites.

Smart House
Phantom of the Megaplex
Up Up and Away
Smart House was the shit. Katey Sagal from Married with Children all the way to Sons of Anarachy, she was prime MILF.
Phantom is just classic kino
I didn't much care for Up Up and Away however as as child

Eh, to me DCOM always felt soulless and boring compared to animated series. Whenever one would come up, I'd switch the channel.
Blasphemy. Sure a lot of them sucked ass but when they were good, they were great.
HeavyWeights is technically a DCOM and that's an amazing movie to this day. The only reason it's not played is because the fatties got upset.
Rocketman was similarly booted from syndication because white moms got offended on behalf of the chinks for this scene.

Halloween town is the goat. Debbie Reynolds is perfect, all the costumes are fun ss hell, benny the skeleton cabby is cool as fuck and still looks great to this day, and the theme is fantastic probably because it was composed by Mark motherbaugh from devo. It's just so much fun and I'm garenteed to watch it several time every October.
Other great where don't look under the bed which is the perfect level of scary for kids, moms got a date with a vampire, and the already mentioned smart house which basically predicted and named the awful "smart" devices infecting homes today, also ai Peggy is hot.

Fuck happened to Ryan Merriman anyway? He fell off the face of the earth?

The Thirteenth Year is up there for me, for ones that haven't been mentioned yet.

And who could forget Zenon, or the Zequel?

High School Musical came along after I aged out of them, but I get the sensation that it really killed the vibe of the original movies?
