The chances of local law enforcement getting involved in internet stuff is zero unless it's terrorist related. Southern US is especially bad, the police there don't do anything about what happens on the internet (out of incompetence), which is why a lot of the well known phone booked CSAM spammers are from there

uh like 5+ years? Naught's literally named after me and has been active since the Chris-Chan arc. Elaine for about as long. The monkey torture guy is newer but he's financially motivated. There's a reason I'm not bothering to ignore them anymore.

I think you fail to understand the task that would be before you.

KF has a known history, so you are stuck with either self-publishing or finding an indie publisher that won't immediately hand you over to some branch of law enforcement for "hate speech", or don't just outright hate us because we're all retarded.

Leaves a very narrow path to tread. And risks exposing us even more.

its a shame there is no way to fight back against the botnet itself or redirect anything it sends right back at it so all the machines involved just break down over time until the botnet becomes so small that the botlord just stops letting people use it.

That's sort of the goal of PoW captchas; the only issue is that if money is no object for the attacker, or they are being allowed to use a botnet by someone else who has money, then it doesn't really do anything more than a normal captcha

To add to this, if the main site and origin was kept up it would eventually become futile to DDoS it. If a dozen other clearnet domains are available to reach the site at, what's the point in knocking kiwifarms.st off? I see this as a potential real solution to the problem. Just not one immediately achievable and would require a great deal of thought and work to actually make the docker & infrastructure.

Also it's funny that the Tor site got knocked off soon after that post, but application attacks like that can be mitigated and guarded against just like we have our entire history. The Tor arm is much much harder to take down than clearnet and leaning on that fact and the willingness of KF users to contribute could keep us on the clearnet consistently, I believe.
 
DDOSing Tor is a smart move, DDOSing a tool made by a federal agency is super smart, no one will ever be able to easily trace where DDOSing is coming from when you attack nodes in a federal agency made piece of software, the perpetrators do not have holes in their grey matter from abusing stims since age 17 at all no sir

KF was not banned from Cloudflare for "hate speech," you mongoloid. Every alt-right site where they niggerkikefaggot all day long is allowed on Cloudflare. We're banned from Cloudflare because content was posted here that made powerful eunuchs angry.

Go read up on how a botnet works for DDos attacks, and then do a bit of self-education on why it’s difficult if not impossible to accurately back trace a bot driven DDos attack to a point of origin. Come back and share what you learned with the class when you’re done.
 
If these attacks do end up making clearnet too inconsistent to use, I'm more than happy to pull Tor out just for this one site. Those who are smart enough to do that are the ones that go through the effort to create real content here.

Cloudflare is only getting more and more monopolistic by the day, every week I run into another site that has it. At this point it's probably the most powerful company on the web with its position, and there's no oversight at all. Just fucked beyond reason.

I have a seperate question though: since TOR (although still usable) is slow on loading stuff, what can be done to minimize this site's loading footprint? I just turned off the chat I never really use, used NoScript to disable the font and WebGL, which helps a little... is there some sort of data-saver site option or options within TOR/extensions to help out on that front?

...and then it turned out the people running the system are in fact the ones running the system and were able to break their own rules, break the law, change their own rules, change the laws, and target this one specific company and its buyers for sabotage specifically with complete impunity.
We can shoot for the retardedness victory though, sure. I've got a lot of confidence in you guys.
