Sites with WAY worse reputation than us are on cloudflare:
The difference between KF and those sites is this: they all removed the dox of a certain individual when threatened. The actors behind this don't care about principles or protecting the innocent, but only about themselves.
What is more vile? Tor or discord?
It's not any reasonable comparison to be made. I feel like you and people like @Drip Torch are making the mistake of treating TOR like it's a social media network, when it's just a way of accessing part of the Internet that isn't accessible through the regular DNS. It's not a chat app like discord. Might as well compare albert hall to a bunch of country roads in ohio.

Substitute "the Internet" for "TOR" and see how little sense the comparison makes.

The line is a circle and the end is just another beginning

I can access the site readily over clearnet, but https://kiwifarmsaaf4t2h7gc3dfc5ojhmqruw2nit3uejrpiagrxeuxiyxcyd.onion/ is very slow now, to the point I thought it was down.
My first year or two lurking the farms (off the tailend of #dropkiwifarms) I exclusively used TOR, I found the slowness/unreliability frustrating. Not long after creating an account I stopped using TOR for the same reason because it was making posting frustrating as well, especially if media was attached.

Contrast that with the current DDoS situation, where the site is either totally down or running normally, and to me it's far, far less annoying. Of the ~4yrs I've been around, this has been the least bothersome disturbance to my user experience. The bad hard drives were far worse. It's like the difference between a brick & mortar shop that has shitty customer service and long checkout lines vs. one that keeps odd hours - except I don't feel cheated by the odd hours, because I didn't walk all the way to the store just to find it's closed.

I did not spec into computers so I am of no help on this issue but I appreciate the hard work of those who do and the freedom the site provides. Keep it up boys you do good work. Null ignore the retards and keep on keeping on.

(I wasnt going to fag up the thread but since people already are.. might as well cheerlead for those doing something.)

I think Null needs to hire a big, fat, sassy black bitch to go and complain to the manager of the Internet. Being white and polite isn't going to get shit moving. You need a Kaliyah or a Qwaneeka to go in and knock over an instore display and yell I 👏 WANT 👏 TO 👏 SPEAK 👏 TO 👏 A 👏 SUPERVISOR 👏.
do we have a black woman who can be our Chief DEI Officer? I know there's a few mixed girls but I need a proper CEO with the fro.

There is a lot of similarities between tor and discord that make them comparable. Neither can be easily indexed or searched on the clearnet, and you require hoops to get to them. Both host illegal services like ddos suppliers or animal crush porn and reporting does nothing as they will simply vanish and reappear under a new name. Finding this stuff is incredibly difficult unless you get an invite or a link from someone in the know. The only difference is that everything on Discord resides on a single company’s servers. Heck you use special apps to access them, or you can use web portals (with the tor one being less known)

My sympathies for Josh, which he has no practical use for, but I'm quite content using KF as it is. It's just part of the charm that it's down every other day. In fact a working site with no outsider bad boy credentials would feel homosexual and gay at this point.

Well, I disagree. No law broken, no court order, no takedown. That simple.
Cowards way out. The reason people are upset isn't doxing. They would have nuked reddit and doxbin.
Phone books and Yellow Pages (with addresses & numbers, neatly catalogued & alphabetically ordered,) have been publicly available for decades, both in print & online. That kind of information has always been out there for anyone who cares to look

The defenses you're using are spiritually the same as Solomon Friedman and porn directors saying there's nothing wrong with talking impoverished 18 year old high school dropouts into a contract deal. You can point at the historical legality of it all you want, but actions seen as exploitative and harmful in the court of public opinion are very frequently actions that become prohibited by real law backed by force. The EU GDPR effectively banned data brokering and phonebooking because people were tired of having their personal information taken from them, at best with the option to opt-out and at worse with the option of jack and shit, and posted publicly or sold between mega corporations. Similar laws are now in effect with at least 20 other U.S states, and it's going to keep growing from there. You don't have to be psychic to see where law is heading, you just need the theory of mind to put yourself yourself into the typical persons shoes and ask yourself if you'd be ok with it happening to you.

There's no way getting around it. People do not want their phone numbers or addresses posted in a public forum which they did not consent to, nor can they give you a reason why that should be allowed in the first place. Even if you have thousands of people who would hate you regardless of the changes you make, I suspect there's a larger amount who are turned against you because the posting of addresses crosses the line for them.

The cherry picked quotes you’re using to attempt to describe only your anti argument are disingenuous, too.

I have reached out to Andrew Torba maybe 100 times and he ignores me. Rumble ignores me. Nobody wants to work together. Nobody wants to share resources. Nobody wants to listen. Everyone wants to be the based Internet superhero and get 100% of the credit, so we're all going to eat shit forever.
And this right here is why nothing ever happens for the collective benefit.

And whom would that be, the mystical modern audience Internet userbase?

Your entire argument relies on the thought that Josh should have done X, Y and Z without having any concrete benefits for him in return.
