The point is that it doesn't really matter. Normies opposed the censorship of the internet, but it was imposed anyways. The first Trump term had internet censorship as a major issue, with people constantly brainstorming over it and advocating against it and a president that was sympathetic as any politician in America will ever be, and that didn't stop it.

The only way out is going to be through. Things that can't be censored, or convincing some billionaire to buy Twitter and restore the pre-2016 speech policy no matter how loudly the ADL whines about it, or convincing Russia or Chyna that they can bring down the U.S. government by hosting a social media site with pre-2016 speech standards, which at this point might not even be a lie.

Musk didn't restore the pre-2016 speech policy, though, people still get suspended for saying e. g. anti-semitic shit. And they have really buttoned up when it comes to attaching a real identity, either through credit card or phone number or their very leaky third-party ID verification, in case you live in the wrong country and the police comes knocking for hatespeech violations.

The main issue with sci-fi "horror" is that it is often just, not terrifying by itself. You have to actively think about why it is scary to then elicit a response, which may or may not be near the realm of manipulation.
"An AI that is a bunch of ones and zeros hacked [something] and it does NOT affect you. But it could!"; "An AI said that it wants to kill all of humanity. It did nothing about it and was promptly shut down."; "AI launches nukes in videogames. It does not have access to real-life nukes."
It all seems so silly and cheap, I'm starting to lose interest in Literally Everything that elicits an emotional response. Maybe I'm just tired of getting worked up over everything. I'm on my zen era or whatever the fuck. Someone give me ayahuasca, please.

I remembered the name of it eventually, Cassandra

Human uploads assume that the AI that is generated from your memories retain the same “weights” that you used as an organic human. It can be equally terrifying if the AI used all of the weights exactly, or none of them.

Sorry, the concept of half-weights doesn't elicit much from me because, well, whatever the AI overlords could scrape off the Internet is inherently human, regardless if it was from a primary source or otherwise. But since it's just one human for one AI... Okay, fair. But I'd much rather read a book, which I don't often do regardless.
As for the Russian one—I actually don't remember much, but it was the equivalent of "must save big-tiddy gf", clanker version, IIRC. What matters more to me here, though, is that the male actor also played as a gifted character with quite the sense of smell. Yeah.
Käro portrayed Viktor, an investigator with an unusually sensitive sense of smell that allows him to detect trace substances and solve complex crimes, a role that blended forensic deduction with personal turmoil.
