second call went fantastic and quoted me a number so hugely below expectations that I basically told them I was flexible on upgrading to a much larger port size if the suits wanted it in exchange for the risk awareness.

this is great news. though i imagine no matter what happens on this front its smart to wait and see what happens given how easily the other DDoS mitigation services cucked out when hit with even a fraction of attacks this place deals with.

I actually made a quick userscript to revert the theme changes. Sites shouldn't change their name depending on how they're accessed, and I don't need to be reminded of nool derangement faggotry on every page load, very strange decision. Agreed the Tor site is great though.

I honestly don't think their tard bucks are as unlimited as it seems. Otherwise they really would just have us down 100% of the time. I think we, for whatever value of "we" we have, will just have to cope with the fact sometimes clearnet will be down, sometimes the site will be entirely down, but these people are stupid, lazy, and chintzy and will never knock us out for good, unless nool really did finally have enough of it one day and said fuck it.
